The Rupertus is in one word Amazing! Accommodations, staff, food, views… nothing was lacking. We want to retire and live there !

Dreamy hotel in a dreamy location!

A beautiful family-run hotel that invites relaxation and comfort. The team is very dedicated and anticipates the guests' wishes. Everyone is very friendly and genuinely interested, which makes the stay even more of a special experience. We can only highly recommend this hotel. Thank you!

Unfortunately, the expectations were not met.

Unfortunately, we can only give 3 points. The reasons for this are:
We stayed 6 nights in the suite with a sauna. Unfortunately, it rained on the day of arrival. The rain was pounding so loudly on the roof that we could not sleep the whole night. Additionally, I was served a meal with lactose twice, but it was said to be lactose-free, which unfortunately caused me such severe discomfort the next day that I could not even go to breakfast. In our room, the sink was not cleaned, towels were missing, and some of the old dishes were still there. We did not visit the wellness area and cannot comment on it, as we had our sauna in the room. It would be nice if everything were smoke-free, so one would not have to endure the rising smoke from the room below us. We find it rather poor that there is no food from the menu, as I, for example, cannot eat everything from the 5-course menu due to two intolerances, yet I am paying for it. It is the same for lunch as well. The price of €35 per person for a late checkout room is completely excessive, as the room is just one. This should be calculated per room and not per person. The breakfast was good. There was a lot of variety and it was very delicious. What I could eat for dinner was very tasty. The staff is super friendly and attentive, except for the two times the food was brought incorrectly. Personally, we are not fans of the hotel owners constantly walking from table to table and making small talk. But that is a matter of taste. It was nice that we received a farewell gift. The hotel is very nice, but it is quite embedded among many other hotels. Hiking and activities are plentiful. The free parking is also great. Overall, we can say that we will not book again. It is too expensive for that.

Es freut uns, dass Sie insbesondere unser Frühstück, Teile des kulinarischen Angebots, die Freundlichkeit unseres Teams sowie einige Annehmlichkeiten des Hauses positiv hervorheben.
Gleichzeitig bedauern wir, dass Ihr Aufenthalt nicht in allen Bereichen Ihren Erwartungen entsprochen hat.
Wir finden es sehr schade, dass Sie mit unserem lactosefreien Angebot nicht zufriedenstellen konnten, auch wenn wir täglich ein komplette veganes Menü servieren.
Dass 2x ein falsches Essen serviert worden ist soll natürlich nicht passieren – hier werden wir unser Team noch einmal mehr sensibilisieren.
Viele unserer Gäste schätzen sehr, dass Fam. Herzog/Blumenkamp Abends im Hotel spürbar sind , aber wie Sie schon sagen – es ist natürlich Geschmackssache.
Wir wollten Sie hiermit keinesfalls belästigen.
Wenn Sie uns in Zukunft noch einmal einen 2. Chance geben freuen wir uns sehr.
Dann planen wir am besten auch kein Zimmer gleich unterm Dach ein – wir haben hier ja die verschiedensten Zimmermöglichkeiten.
Ansonsten hoffen wir, dass wir mit unserem Abschiedsgeschenk etwas Urlaubsfeeling mit nach Hause geben konnten und wünschen Ihnen für die Zukunft alles Gute.

Vegan Vegetarian Dreamy

Thank you very much for the wonderful time! As vegetarians, it was crucial for us that there is a vegan menu available. We also greatly enjoyed the wonderful attentive staff, the comfortable atmosphere throughout the house, the fantastic wellness area, and the care provided for the cats. Thank you very much for the thoughtful gestures to the entire team! We will come back! Thank you!

A hotel to feel good all round

A very personally run hotel, with attentive staff, the food including the vegan or vegetarian dishes fine and very varied, the wellness landscape wonderful and generous.
