Wonderful little guesthouse

If you find yourself needing a bed & you're in this area, this would be the place to stop. Large sized bedrooms with a little separate lounge area should you need it. Large comfortable beds and large bathrooms too. Ample breakfast with plenty of choice of fresh fruits, cheeses, meats, cereals and loads of fresh coffee.Friendly, welcoming hosts and locals. Free parking. It's a little out of the way so a car would be needed to get about. Koflach town is not that far away and is worth a look around. It's also not far from the LIpizzaner stud farm, which is well worth a visit. We would definately stay here again if we return to the area.

Alright but not a highlight

The guesthouse makes a solid impression overall. The temperature in the room was pleasant, and the bed was comfortable. I slept very well.
However, the decor is a bit old-fashioned, and the carpet could have been cleaner. The sofa in the room didn't seem particularly inviting.
The hosts were friendly but rather reserved. who hopes for an open conversation, may be disappointed here a bit. Personally, it didn't bother me.
Breakfast was good and perfectly adequate. Overall a decent stay with small weaknesses in cleanliness and decor.

Communication key

This is a small establishment, and I would say best suited if you have your own car. I came by train, and the landlady was kind enough to lend me her bike so that I could get around the place. My room was nice, spacious with a nice and clean bathroom, but excruciatingly hot due to the warm weather and no air conditioning. Breakfast was okay, but really nothing special. Communication is a bit of a problem, unless you speak German. Unfortunately my skills were not good enough to communicate with the owners, and so could not get help with my queries, ask for directions etc.

A great base for a holiday in Styria

Friendly staff and locals who made us feel welcome where ever we went.
Rooms clean and comfortable.
Great breakfast with good choice of fresh fruit, cheese and cereals.
Nice area for walking or relaxing and not too far from Piber Stud Farm if you want to see the white Horse's of the Spanish Riding School.

Wir können diese nette Pension jedem empfehlen.
Große Zimmer, gut ausgestattet und sauber.
Gutes Frühstück. Sehr nette Gastgeber .
Würden jederzeit wieder gerne einkehren.
