Host at its best

Although a well-known hotel/restaurant for bus groups (we were also one), the Service was excellent. Rarely has a table been set exactly to our specifications. Nothing was missing!! The boss personally made sure of it. The Quality of food was excellent, the Service friendly and professional. The boss greeted us briefly personally and thanked us for the visit. Where else is that? An all-round enjoyable experience!

Not recommended

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this hotel. The focus seems to be clearly on coach tour groups, which makes individual guests feel less welcome.
The service was partly unfriendly and unmotivated. For example, our lunch was served without cutlery – we had to gather it ourselves from another table. The rooms were also unconvincing: They are showing their age and the shower was leaking.
In our view, the price-performance ratio is not right. Also not a good first impression: Upon our arrival, several employees were standing right in front of the hotel entrance smoking.
A pity, because with a little more hospitality and attention, our stay could have turned out much more positively.

Nice with relaxing vacation

Nice place is good next to the church, but lovely indoor pool and small garden where you can lie and sunbath. However, there is not much to see in the city when half of the shops were closed.

Lovely hotel. Outstanding staff throughout.

Stayed here for one night on a recent cycling trip from Munich to Merano. Hotel room was very comfortable, spacious and had everything we needed. Pool and sauna were excellent. Ate in the hotel restaurant in the evening and the food was very good.
The staff in the hotel were all outstanding. I left behind a personal item in the room and they went above and beyond to return this to the UK for me.
