Just beautiful!!!!
Extremely pleasant hotel. Room with balcony in beautiful surroundings overlooking the great courtyard. Warm owners and super great, friendly and attentive staff.
Restaurant with the best cuisine in the area. Just incredibly good.
The in-house wine is served. Sand bars and merlot must have been tried.

Beautiful courtyard, extensive room facilities
Illmitz in Burgenland, not far from Podersdorf, and yet close to the lake, and directly on the bike path. Touristically not the hotspot, but also not away. And here hides a gem of hotel, the likes of which are rarely found.
The Rosenhof is an old square building with a courtyard. In this one you can sit really idyllic and let it go well. Parking is plentiful. Wheels can be locked in their own garage. A few outlets are available. However, you are asked to charge in the room for whatever reason. Upon arrival you will be invited for a welcome drink. As you would expect, the selection of wines is enormous. After the usual check in it goes a few steps into the room. The corridor still seems a bit cold, but the room surprises then.
Double room for single use. I'm looking at the escape plan. Yeah, that's one of the smaller ones. But with a balcony on which a table and two armchairs can be placed. Very good, we have air conditioning that cools the room properly. And a well-stocked minibar (at least for wine drinkers). There's a safe in the closet. I can't find a hotel folder, but there is a book with the history and sights of Burgenland. Incidentally, the room rate includes the "Burgenland Card" If used appropriately, you can certainly save a lot. The bed is neat. The mattress could have been thicker, but that's a matter of taste. Darkening okay, unfortunately no blinds. Due to the lack of mountains (where the hotel really can't help it now) it gets light early in the area. Sound insulation in all areas is very good. Wi-Fi is available and fast.
The bathroom is neat and big. The shower quickly to temperature and stable. No to hardly any traces of lime. The cabin is tight. A shelf available, unfortunately no soap dispenser, just a small bottle of shampoo. The fume hood comes along nicely. Everything's okay here, that way.
The breakfast buffet leaves almost nothing to be desired. Liver sausage would be another stimulus. Scrambled eggs or fried eggs are served fresh. Spreads come in small jars. Just in front of the coffee machine, a small queue forms every now and then. He's not the fastest. The filter coffee as an alternative was not my taste. In good weather you can sit in the garden. bread rolls and several types of bread. We were only one day when I couldn't find another pastry. But three kinds of cake, and lots of vegetables. The orange juice had a great taste.
Those staying less than four nights pay an extra fee. I think that, right on the bike path, is a bit of a shame, but please. We also ate very delicious at the hotel. However, the service doesn’t really seem to be in place yet. And the price of the beer is too high. Just in passing. Considering the room facilities and the really nice courtyard, I think a price of €100 (double room for single use, one night only) is justified. I even fell just short (June 24) so full recommendation. 5/5

Always a dining pleasure
I've been to Rosenhof to eat about once a year over the past decade. Their quality of food and wine along with their comfortable atmosphere have always impressed me and those in my company. I hope they continue their fine service for many more decades!

The best place in the location, even when you go to Parndorf.
Nice people, you get a glass of wine as you reach the place, food is EXTREMELY GOOD and the rooms are perfectly clean. I recomment this place. There are a lot of roses in the garden, and you can park your car exactly in the hotel front and you won't have a problem.

Like staying with Family!
Very clean, comfortable, with delicious creative food! The owners were very friendly and helpful, even providing binoculars and blankets for a our horse-drawn wagon ride! Also helped with recommendations/reservations for activities such as bicycling. Food and wines are excellent and all meals are available not simply breakfast. Lovely rose gardens and courtyard. Wonderful area for cycling.
