Idealne miejsce na pobyt
Spędziliśmy 4 dni w tym wspaniałym hotelu, i to było wspaniałe doświadczenie. Pokoje są przestronne, dobrze wyposażone, ładna łazienka, i szybki internet. Zjedliśmy kilka wieczorów w hotelu, a jedzenie było smaczne, obfite, i ładnie się prezentuje. Śniadanie w formie bufetu można gorąco polecam, oferuje prawie wszystko. Personel i właściciel są bardzo doświadczeni, przyjazny, wydajny i oferować usługi z uśmiechem. Ten hotel ma wszystko, basen kryty, sauna, fitness, kryty parking, bar, restauracja, wszystko.
Chciałbym tu przyjechać jeszcze raz.

Relaxing days with pampering breakfast
Very nice hotel with unique breakfast buffet.
Dinner was so lala, noble served - unfortunately you didn't really get enough. Just a hint of everything, luckily you could catch up on salad.
The staff, no matter what area, very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Style but still 70s with mini TV in the living room. Beautiful balconies with great views. All around a few nice days. Next time I would only book bed and breakfast.

Nice hotel with extremely friendly staff
We spent five lovely days at the Hotel Jagdhof and felt completely at home. A lovely hotel with exceptionally friendly staff. The hotel is not new, but it is obvious that a lot of emphasis is placed on cleanliness and care. In addition, all rooms are gradually being renovated. We already had a renovated room and we liked it very much, and the size of the room was sufficient for our needs.
We had booked a room with pampering board, which also included breakfast, a small lunch buffet (we didn't use it), coffee and cake, and an evening menu. Everything was delicious and the evening menu was very good quality and varied. There was always something for our children (8 & 10 years old) too.
The small wellness area seems very new and offers a nice way to relax after a day's hike. Our children were very happy about the pool. Here too, a little old but well-kept and clean.
All in all, we had a lovely time and can only recommend the hotel!

Trying out a "new" Hotel on our return to the Kleinwalsertal
We returned to Riezlern, Austria in the Kleinwalsertal for a week of wellness and hiking in October. We had been there over Christmas 2015 and loved the area and village, but were not happy with our hotel so decided to go back and try a different hotel - thus choosing the Hotel Jagdhof. The location in the village is ideal, being right on the "Casino Platz" where the free regional buses stop. They link Riezlern with 3 other villages, allowing one to start or end a hike useing the bus system - the gondolas are also free when you stay in a local hotel.
The hotel itself was very clean and bight, decorated in the traditional light wood and red and green fabrics that are typical of the Austrian rustic style. We stayed in a 30m square room facing west so had lots of mid to afternoon sun. Beds were comfortable and had THE best bedside lights where one could actually read by - a big gripe of mine in the 12 years we have been doing wellness vacations in Austria. My only complaint with our room was that the walk-in shower was really a small "square" enclosure and with a bar/grip to accomodate older guests mounted on the wall, even being a relatively thin person, I was always hitting that when turning around in the shower.
Food is always a big part of any vacation and the 3 course dinners served were excellent EVERY night! I ate the vegetarian option every night and never got bored with what was served - and always creatively presented on the plate. My husband had either the fish or meat option and was also happy. Diningroom service was also very good but none of the servers wore a name tag, didn`t introduce themselves the first night nor did they explain for first timers like us at the hotel, how the "flow" of the evening meal went (i.e. Which courses were selve serve and which were ordered - I had to ask the first night). The breakfast buffet, with freshly made egg dishes, as well as breads, cereals, meats and cheeses was also very good.
As we book our hotels for the Wellness facilities (i.e. Massages, beauty treatments, etc and not sauna) we were very impressed with the small but beautifully decorated spa area. The two ladies there (who DID wear name tags and did introduce themselves!) were VERY good and the prices very reasonable.
Other reviewers complained of issues with the staff which concerned me having booked here for the first time. To me they were friendly enough but maybe didn`t go out of their way like we have experienced at other Austrian wellness hotels. Again with no one wearing a name tag nor introducing themselves from the beginning , I think this sort of keeps a guest from feeling really welcome. When you stay at a hotel a week you want to greet people by their name or even give them credit for something nice in a review like here - but unfortunately that isn`t possible. However with so many positives about this hotel, this will not keep us from crossing this hotel off of our list - in fact we enjoyed it soo much that we WILL be going back next year.

Right spot, good service, bit outdated but climbing up.
Hotel on a gr8 location, busstop in front of the door and running every 10 minutes, skilift 50 meters walk which takes you to to the Kanzelwand Bahn. Gr8 service, the chef picks you up from the station and fries eggs to your liking in the morning. Overall friendly staff. Food is how we know it in Austria, just OK en kitchen tries to reach gourmet level with an extra touch. Breakfast buffert is much OK, lunch buffet and afternoon tea and cakes make it a well treat addded with the salad buffet and 3 option menu for diner. Dont miss the kaiserschamrrn. We had the 2 room suites in the 2nd building which connects underground. rooms were clean and complete, a bit outdated but it all funtions well and has the Austrain look. The wellness (sauna area) really need a reconstruction and is planned for the end of this year. The ski room is to small in high season. The lady of the reception makes her own hats from wool, which appear trendy and exclusive..yould get one. Sure we know better hotels, also in Austria but overall for us this hotel scores high because of the location, good services and good food, and the fact that it is not the most modern hotel we take as it is. If you look for more exclusive, modern and organic than check out the naturhotel in Hirschegg.
