Return visit after some years. Will not be the last.

This used to be a favourite but I hadn't been there for some years. The revamped restaurant is very attractive. The food is good and the service is good. Recommend a visit. It's certainly found it's way on to my favourites list and I've been recommending it to friends.

Restaurant Review. Super Yummy

We were a family of 6 and had dinner at Upper Ross Hotel in June. The quality of the meals were fabulous. The steak especially, cooked to perfection, great quality and a Diane sauce to die for.
We were in the area visiting family and our kids are still asking months later to return.
The staff were really friendly and efficent, made for a great relaxed and good quality evening.
Thanks to the kitchen and Service team, we will be back when next in the neighbourhood.

Little Disappointed

Booked to go to the Melbourne Cup Function, but was a little disappointed with the
Menu this year. While the Coconut Fish was nice, the alternative drop was a little
too casual, Cold Meat Platter with Bread Roll. Really I could have stayed at home
and had a bread roll. The venue was decorated nicely and the service was excellent
as is usual, the price per head for the function was within our budget so that was a
plus, the atmosphere was okay but could have been better with more interaction with the patrons silly games would have lent to a better time and filled up the space
between the courses and the race. Prizes could be Keno Vouchers or Lunch for one
from the $10 Lunch Menu mineral cost for a better return.

Not happy

There was no mention of the $100 key deposit on the booking site. The room was less than ideal. Was not happy that we couldn't check out until 10am. The step up in the shared toilet facilities was a tripping hazard. Will not be staying again
