Fabulous place to stay if you want to stay a few days in the area to look at Montville and Maleny without the hassle of Sunday traffic

Dirty room

Great location for the Sunshine Coast hinterland but it was filthy.
Checking in is via a lock box, no staff at premises. Initial impression is quite good, grounds are well maintained and appealing with a lovely pool area for a warmer season.
There are signs around saying the place is being renovated but we saw no evidence of this.
Room though is very basic with minimum amenities. (Why do these places insist on using the smallest of mugs?) Towels were thin and worn. Bedding looked clean and neat although blanket provided was old.
Cleaning however is woeful. Hair and debris found around bathroom sink. Grime on shower screen and walls. Lampshades coated in dust. Air conditioner has complimentary layer of black dust. Upper ledges thick with dust.
No one on site in morning to report any of this to. Will not be back

I have driven past many times and always thought of staying there.
This weekend I had the opportunity.
I was so happy with my choice.
My room was a studio with handicapped facilities. I recently injured my shoulder so this was an added bonus that was good luck and not planned
My room enabled me to spend a few days in an area of the Sunshine Coast that I love to spend the day but there is always a traffic jam coming home.
The hotel room was lovely. It had a double bed and couch. It also had large TV with Netflix and YouTube and allowed me to watch a game of the FIFA World Cup.
The kitchen area had a kettle, Toaster, electric frypan. Microwave, some plates and a few serving dishes. It had a decent sink, clothes and washing detergent. A nice sized fridge with freezer. Free Wifi and the room was so spacious.
As it was quite cold, I loved the reverse cycle air conditioner and many extra blankets.
I can’t wait to return.

Booked a rate including continental breakfast for 2 people on Expedia but they don't provide breakfast?? Do not answer messages and office closed throughout the day. Bed had a huge hole in the middle. This place is decaying. I would save my money and book somewhere else. Tried contacted expedia twice about it now and I am tired of it. It's false advertising.

Clouds Montville Accomodation

We have stayed here before, nice modern rooms, pool, off street parking, views but unfortunatley no restaurant open on both our stays. It is all set up but never open. Self check in, no one at reception. Fees apply if you dont remove your rubbish apparently.
