Perfect Venue for Our Family Celebration – Amazing Food and Exceptional Service!

We recently booked The Stirling Arms Hotel for a family event, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The team made the whole process so easy — from booking the venue to setting everything up on the day. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable and happy.
The food was amazing — fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. Every guest commented on how delicious their meal was. The drinks selection was also excellent, with something for everyone.
The function space was just the right size for our group, and the attention to detail really stood out. It felt like a genuinely special occasion, and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue.
A huge thank you to the team at The Stirling Arms Hotel — you made our family celebration one to remember! We’ll definitely be back.

Other bad experiences are dwarfed by this place

Stopped by the hotel bar hoping for a nice cocktail — instead, I got an unforgettable performance in customer disservice. The drinks took so long to arrive I started to think they were distilling the gin from scratch in the basement.
When they finally appeared (lukewarm and creatively under-measured), I politely mentioned it wasn’t what I ordered. The bartender responded with the charm of a tax audit and the conviction of someone who’s never been wrong in their life. Apparently, I just didn’t “understand” how a mojito works.
It’s rare to see such confidence paired with such incompetence — almost artistic, really. If you enjoy attitude served neat with a splash of arrogance, this is your spot. Otherwise, bring a flask and a sense of humour.

Terrible Quality

very small and dirty room and got no help from staff, beer was flat and food was rubbish. Skip this if you want to have a nice stay in WA

A great 90th birthday celebration.

I had a function to celebrate my 90th. Birthday on the 31st of August with approximately 70 friends and relatives.
The service and food was excellent and everyone had a great time.
Hannah and staff did a great job with the planning for my important day.
Highly recommend if you are planning a similar event.

Very nice hotel

We can recommend. Thank You very much to staying in your hotel. It was very beatiful renoveted, very nice interior., nice colours. Good food and nice staff. Guildford is very nice area, shops and cafes, beatiful old buildings. Close to the Airport.
