Great park & staff

A variety of accommodation options with tours leaving from your door, pool pizza oven grassed area and great food options. Lisa was a stand out with looking after us (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) for our 2 nights we were there and the rest of the team worked well together. Issac & Ken our tour guides were 10/10 for knowledge and like ability

Not cheap and not clean - budget room for

Check in was fine, and I was given a key and a map of the park.
I booked a budget room for 2 nights, as it was just me and I would be out during the day.
The room was very smelly, like it had not been opened up in a long time. There were a few significant dusty very old spiderwebs at eye level, and the floor was visibly dirty in the bathroom.
Most things don’t bother me, so I was ok to ignore some things.
The sheets were stained, in multiple places, but I was out before reception opened and back after they closed, so I didn’t bother. The bed was on wheels and moved if you moved.
The toilet whistled the whole time, so had to keep bathroom door closed to muffle sound.
Kitchen was ok, clean enough. Small fridge worked well, but was noisy. the curtains at entry door were filthy.
Note it’s a budget room, so no tv, but wifi worked well.
Car park was tight as a 4wd took up most of the space for 2 cars.
Location was fine.
It was suitable for my purpose, but even for a budget room, it was not cheap, and not clean.

The cabins were clean and the beds very comfortable .
The only downside was the pool was green, so the kids couldn't swim.

OVERRATED

Stayed here for one night on our way west but disappointed in this place. Very dated and badly needs an overhaul and good clean. Large shaded sites were good but very dusty and full of leaves. This place used to serve meals and coffee, but no more. Receptonist not very friendly or welcoming.

Didn’t end up staying as i have a snake phobia and there was a snake there the day before . Room wasn’t ready so after a discussion with hubby we decided to travel a few more hours and stayed in another motel . Expensive night as had to pay another motel but didn’t expect refund for my phobia
