Staying at the Larwill to provide a safe place before an early start at the RCH was a perfect choice. Convenient parking downstairs. Staff friendly, food delish and plenty of options. Really enjoyed the wander to explore the artwork. The in-room snacks and bar was super expensive, but not an issue for us anyway. So grateful we could add a cot for our little one. The cot could have done with a mattress, luckily there was a blanket in the robe. Overall, an excellent place to stay, perfect location and highly recommend if you're in the area.

Whenever we come into Melbourne for our short overnight trips we stay here as it is central to most things in Melbourne.
The staff are always friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean and warm.

the bed was like a hard haystack with a topper on it..........
the table had uncleaned food marks on it!
the coffee machine covered in dust as was the
little kitchenette cove, not cleaned out
otherwise a great concept, love the artwork, location
but a good nite sleep and cleanliness is my priority
so wont be returning.....

Clean modern rooms at affordable price near major Melbourne hospitals. Convenient tram line into the city or Peter Mac/Royal Melb/Royal Womens. Onsite at Royal children's. Friendly staff & parking at a reasonable price.

The location was amazing - so easy to grab the tram to dinner!
Room was well set up and we had a lovely view of the parkland behind.
My only negative is that it was a shower over bath - with some limitations in my mobility it was awkward to get in and out and I felt like I could easily slip using the shower.
