A special BnB

We spent a romantic weekend at La Perouse and had a wonderful experience. The room was cosy and beautiful. Great fireplace and a little balcony for startazing. Great bed and linen. Laurel and Sue are fantastic hosts and served a delivious breakfast and the best coffee. We will be back.

An Oasis of calm and relaxation.

It has been nearly nine years since we were here last and frankly since booking last May we have been so looking forward to our return.
Our third visit now from the UK and mid-way through an amazing five week tour.
The updates since we were last here have been great and our room with outside bath once again was a delight.
Yes we did see wild koalas locally and a friendly kangaroo who decided an early evening feast on the grass outside the hotel was ideal. It stayed so long I was able to sketch it, see pictures.
Also ideal, as always, was the location to the town and seafront where we took one day just to relax and potter.
Laurel & Sue were as we remember them, perhaps more so! Being joined by a couple of other German guests too made for a lively breakfast and some good conversations.
If you are looking for an amazing place to stay in Lorne with a genuine welcome and an unrivalled quality of accomodation then look no further. This is the best place ever and you will not be disappointed.

Colonial chic in the centre of Lorne

As it was a rainy and cold day in Lorne and we had turned up some hours before check in time, we were wondering whether we had made a mistake staying here rather than driving on to Melbourne.
When we checked in, we knew right away we had made exactly the right decision. The room was very lovely - a relaxed colonial style with wooden shutters, charming furniture and tasteful linens with a fireplace for the winter and a bath on the balcony for the summer.
The breakfast was delicious and Laurel and Sue were very welcoming.

We would be happy to come back anytime

LE PEROUSE has a really lovely charm. The two owners have fulfilled a lifelong dream here and every guest benefits from it. Very stylish room furnishings with many well thought-out details, a fresh and individually prepared breakfast and the proximity to the beach all go together perfectly. Be careful, there are only 4 or 5 rooms that are sometimes unavailable for longer periods during the season and rightly so.

Splendid elegance overlooking Lorne

Sue and Laurel have ensured that when you stay in your beautiful room you are immersed in elegance. The room was beautifully adorned with white decor, small Smeg fridge luxury bath products and most of all the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The view from the roof on was lovely catching glimpses of the Lorne coastline. The breakfast was scrumptious. Recommend a short drive to Teddys lookout with short tracks to catch views of the Otways and Saint George’s River. It is a steep walk into the town so recommend to the relatively fit.
