Decent place for a drink.

Located on Grote Street, across from the Central Market, this pub is a nice stop on a hot day. It has a lovely decor and plenty of seating in a number of areas throughout the building and on the footpath.

Horrible Experience

Staff were rude and coerced us into buying alcohol when we just wanted to watch the footy, stated “So you’re just gonna come here and buy no food or drinks to watch the game?”.

Great hotel in an excellent part of the city. Across the street from the Central Market and next to the theater. There’s a nice beautiful balcony along the front of the hotel. There’s restaurant and bar downstairs are great.

Everything was good. Staff excellent. Reasonably priced. Good food. It is an old hotel so can't expect it to be five star. Very convenient location. I am happy.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Verandah room overlooking the main road was very noisy.
