Glad it was only one night

On arrival, drove straight past as it looked like a derelict building. Parked in the car park which provided a view of the rooms. I thought maybe they rented them by the hour!
Our room had a hole in the wall and the bedheads were made of styrofoam, glued to the wall.
Found a bottle top and other rubbish on the floor and the contents of someone's nose on the bath towel.
The fridge was so cold it froze our food better than the freezer could.
The one positive was very comfy beds. The room had two singles and mine was pushed up against the window and the draught from the closed window was great for my menopausal hot flushes.

Signage could do with an update, drove straight past it 3 times.
Booked for 3 people and only had 2 single beds which was a little disappointing.
Otherwise, nice clean venue.

Quiet and handy

Clean and tidy and a good price. Nothing spectacular about this place but it’s been updated a bit and is in a good spot. Tricky to find as it just uses a Carlton draught sign. Bonus is it does have a microwave in room so you can do a bit of meal prep.

Lovely rooms, nice and clean, very warm in the winter and great access to all the places we wanted to go to.
