This was my second stay here,the last 2 years prior
This time room 908,a studio room at the front of the hotel facing south and west
Everything thing was as expected
Clean,comfortable and everything worked ,although dated
Windows were caked in salt spray and did need cleaning
There is not daily room cleaning but being there only 4 nights it didn't pose any problems for me and housemaid happy to give you something if you need it
The location,for me,is excellent
The beach directly across the road
BWS directly across the road
Fat Boys pizza just down the road with Coles and liquorland a little further on
2 woolworths are also also by
Cavill Avenue and Cavill Lane, with fast food, restaurants,shopping entertainment etc just one block away
Unfortunately it was too cool for me to use the large salt water pool this time
If you're looking for a good 3 star property which is clean and comfortable with a great location,friendly reception staff

Very Bad management team! They Do not care about customer satisfaction/ rights

Do not book ! They are not focusing on services or solving problems.
The lady manager ( whoever she is ) is nasty towards customers which you would never see in other hotel!
Towels are disgusting that you don’t want to wipe your body with them, as well as the bedding!!!
There are so many other good options in the area than this one !!!

Location excellent. Dirty torn curtains. Sofa disgusting and ready for the tip

Was good

We've been traveling for 6 months and it was good to have our own big apartment. Had cooking facilities and plenty space. Hotel had a small gym, games room, pool, 3 hot tubs, sauna and steamroom. Air-conditioning was pretty bad though

Chateau Beachside surfers paradise, charge like a 4 star but more like a 2 & 1/2 star.

Upon arrival you have a print out from management saying rooms will only be serviced every 7 days, our guests prefer cheaper rates than room maintenance.
The entire apartment building was in chaos with rooms flooding, showers leaking thru to room below.
Some flooding was almost ankle height. The spa's were filthy, even green algie in 1of them.
Honestly, this chateau is needing to lose half a Star in ratings.
