A great boutique hotel in Corowa, Ideal for visiting the local wineries.
What a fantastic place! This boutique hotel in Corowa is certainly focused on couples and we had a wonderful stay.
Hostess Nelsi was very outgoing and friendly without being intrusive.
The quiet, spacious suites were beautifully designed and decorated, subtly combining 1930s style with modern comforts, (including facilities to assist disabled people).
Little features such as exclusively designed tableware added an extra layer of panache to the luxury experience.
The complimentary drinks included a muscat nightcap to bring the day to warm conclusion.
Nelsi offered us herbal teas to boost or relax us as needed and the fresh fruit and herbs were grown in the hotel garden and picked fresh as needed so our breakfast fruit and juice could not have been fresher!
I think we’ll go there again!

Beautiful art deco rooms, more like a home than a hotel
What a beautiful hotel! From the moment you arrive you feel special. The welcome is like from an old friend bringing into their home, and the rooms are swoon worthy. They are large , beautifully appointed, and comfortable. I don't want to leave . I definitely want to come back, even if it's just to stay here.

Another great stay at Circa 1936
Another great visit at Circa 1936. We last visited in 2019 and the new owners have kept place looking fresh and immaculate. We were very pleased to have brought friends with us and our ravings about the ambience of the hotel to be validated. Jen and John's attention to detail and our needs made the whole experience a joy. No request was too difficult and remembering our personal preferences with breakfast made our 2 night stay very special.
I would highly recommend a visit to Circa 1936 and Corowa in general.

Outstanding boutique hotel in Corowa, with an Art Deco vibe!
If I could give this boutique hotel more stars I would, in a heartbeat!
We stayed here after a recommendation from a friend, who had stayed here late last year.
It is outstanding, and the attention to detail not lost on us.
Beautiful spaces in the common areas, with beautiful art works to look at.
Our room, South, was huge! Big bathroom, comfortable bed, and a lovely lounge area, to relax in.
A welcome drink, was most welcome!
The hosts even booked dinner for us at a local Italian restaurant.
A continental breakfast was delicious too.
Off street parking too.
Congratulations to our hosts, who we had many long chats with.
It is a credit to you both.
We will return when we are in the area next time.

Circa 1936 certainly lives up to the description of truly luxury accommodation. The hosts Jen and John were most welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Our suite was beautifully clean, spacious and well appointed. The breakfast was delicious and we appreciated the off street parking. Would definitely recommend.
