Interesting location with bar / restuaurant etc all adjacent - hotel was very clean, and although we had hoped for a mini fridge / microwave in room, the communal kitchen was good enough.

Power points in room are about 1.5 meters above floor level making it impossible to have cords long enough to charge phone, ipad, watch or battery pack
Staff did not know wifi code and another staff member wasnt sure of code for guests level 1 and the code he gave it to try didnt work

Worse Meal at a Pub ever!

Bistro:
Have traveled from QLD - VIC and back up… this was our worse meal in 2 weeks!
Eating out every night.
Frozen vegetables mine were cold, dry mash and inedible lamb crumbed cutlets. Bangers & Mash terrible too.
Staying another night definitely not going back.
Friendly lovely bar girl that’s it.
Cheap drinks at happy hour. ✅
Such a shame for a beautiful pub.

Do not stay at the Imperial hotel, coonabarrabran

Booked online, payed for room unseen. The room was nothing like the photos shown online. Beding was very srained, and had nit been laundered. Old grubby looking room. Shared bathroom with many people. None of the usual things in the room. No t.v. no kettle nothing that could be called comfort. Filthy shared sitting room, complete with stained sofa, which should have been in the tip

Nice accomodation

We were in Coonabarabran for our last farewell to a family member and we were offered the large family room to stay for free . The manager went above and beyond to look after us , offering us food and blankets for our stay in the room . She was so lovely and the room was nice . Thank you so much for your kindness
