Happy Valley is our happy place
We’ve been holidaying at Waterview for several years now, and look forward to our next stay all year. Jason and Ella are wonderful managers, always going the extra mile and doing whatever they can to make our stay enjoyable. The apartments are clean, fresh, and well stocked with everything we might need, including books, games and jigsaw puzzles. The location is excellent; our car stays in the lock-up garage and we walk everywhere. Morning coffees from the Happy Turtle are a great way to start the day, and the views from the apartments put over the beach and ocean are something else.

Level 2 Unit or a Penthouse Unit for the money
The Waterview Resort is the ideal place with the ideal location to stay. The management team are a dream and the units we have stayed in over the years have all been very comfortable and well maintained. If you are going to Caloundra do yourself a favour and try The Waterview because you won't regret it. One thing though .....recently noticed that The Waterview is listing a 2nd Floor unit for the same cost as a penthouse unit ?? Apparently the listed 2nd floor unit is fully renovated, however, for the same money, do yourself another favour, if you can stay in one of the penthouse units try it out and I am sure you won't regret that choice either. Not only do the penthouse units have spectacular views and very comfortable indeed , each has its own rooftop deck area to relax and unwind ( added bonus - 2 car parking spaces with the penthouse units)

Second to none!
Once again we chose to stay at this beautiful location and have to say that we were not disappointed. The Managers have settled in beautifully and must take credit for the changes they have and are making. The freshly painted entrance and hallways to the beautiful gardens topped off the endless views from our balcony. Thank you Jason and Ella.

Justine thank you for staying with us again it was a pleasure to have you. You can't bet the views from the penthouse where you stayed. The views are endless, the ships passing and the sunsets! Thank you for noticing all the work that has taken place around the Waterview in 2023, the fresh white walls look great and life has been bought back into our gardens. We hope to see you again soon. Holiday Ruined By Worst Property Managers
*Apartment Owners Take Note* Have stayed here many times over the last decade but just recently with the new managers. They have ruined what used to be a great holiday place to relax. The man sits on his balcony overlooking the pool watching your every move & even speaking to children for splashing. To make matters worse, he smokes & upon walking up the main entrance stairs, all you can smell is cigarette smoke. His professionalism is questionable, parading around shirtless doing his jobs at the resort. He made us all feel uncomfortable. One of his jobs is not vacuuming under the beds because the dust was revolting. The woman, his partner, is rude to say the least & overcharged us. Get everything in writing from this woman. Unfortunately no improvements have been made to the bathrooms & kitchen & with the passage now just sand, Waterview is no longer that. Sadly we will never be back to what was once our favourite place to stay in Caloundra. We used to call Waterview our happy place, not anymore!

Barry Utz thank you for taking the time to submit your feedback. We are sorry to hear you felt this way on your recent holiday. If you had let us know your concerns whilst you were staying here, we may have been able to resolve things with you. When guests make a reservation, they are sent a confirmation email confirming all the details of the booking and our terms and conditions. When you arrived you wanted to pay with cash, which we advised we no longer accept due to the laws around cash and trust accounts. You did not want to pay by credit card, so we offered the option of direct deposit. When you checked in you confirmed that you had 4 guests in total. A day later we texted asking if there were extra guests. You said yes so were advised you that there would be an extra charge and could you please come to reception to pay. Which you did. You were not overcharged for anything. Both this info about cash and guests can be found in our confirmation email. Guests and owners are permitted to smoke on their balconies at the Waterview and whilst you were staying, we had several smokers here with us. In relation to our staff, we can assure you that all of our staff members are fully clothed during their working hours. As onsite managers we do live at The Waterview and we do enjoy our balcony and sitting and watching our children swim in the pool, we also enjoy the beach and like our guests we do come home in our swimmers sometimes, we are very sorry if you found that uncomfortable. Our owners have been steadily making improvements to their units over the past year, with the view of doing more in the near future. The unit you stayed in had just been painted, new floors installed and all new furniture and appliances. As to the cleanliness of our units we take a lot of pride in that area and are sorry to hear that there was dust found under the beds. The sand moving in the passage is mother nature doing her work and have found that many families are loving the change, as they feel it is much safer to swim at Bulcock Beach and the lagoons and can set up their cabanas on the sand for the day. The views from our units are still stunning and there is not a lack of ocean views. We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay with us. We wish you the best of luck on your next holiday. Scammers!!!!!
Scammers they charged us 500 dollars for something we didn’t do the place is bad for kids as well please do go here they are no good an every thing is very cheep
They are rude as well!! If you have a family don’t come here they even said to NOT to JUMP in a pool they are terrible do not come here

Thank you for taking the time to submit your review. We welcome guests of all ages to our resort and we are a very family friendly building. The pool is a public space for the use and enjoyment of everyone staying in the building. We have a total of 16 units so many people wish to use the pool at same time. We would only mention something to swimmers if that was being jeopardized or if it was deemed a safety concern. There is a sign at the pool that says no diving or cannon balling for these reasons.
