What a gem

What a gem! We did a short trip to Byron Bay whilst on holiday in Aus and booked here for one night. Very close to everything going on but tucked away and quiet. Our room was spotless, great facilities and the self check in was so easy. If we are ever this way again, would definitely stay here.

Dishonest scammers

I had booked a weekend with my friends to celebrate the end of my cancer treatment, directly through Azur. I was unexpectedly hospitalised the week prior so my friends organised with Azur to reschedule our weekend. If they had been honest and said no my friends could have gone without me but kind of defeated the purpose of the trip. But Azur AGREED we could reschedule and we thought all was ok. They have completely ignored our multiple phone calls and emails since. Unfortunately my friend didn’t get anything in writing but I guess we still hold hope in people’s word. So now we’ve lost thousands of dollars to these scammers. They do not deserve your patronage. Absolutely disgusting human behaviour.

Unprofessionalism

Overall, the experience at Azur was ok.
The one thing that annoyed me was that on the day of our arrival, it was raining extremely heavily and it was night time. The last thing we wanted to do was go out because we were firstly tired and secondly, no would want to go out in that weather.
We decided to stay in and watch some tv and it was promised to us that netflix would be offered too.
Any show that we watched, it wouldn't work at all. When I called the owner, he promised he would have a look at it the next morning. He never showed up and he never called back (not that we cared that much because we weren't planning to watch tv our whole holiday) but it just shows unprofessionalism. Don't promise to do something if you have no intention of fixing the problem. It also made us uneasy, because if we had a different problem in the room, I knew that it wouldn't be fixed.

HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED. AVOID

This is very much a dilapidated backpackers motel, We stayed at the Sea Breeze unit, The premises requires total upgrade, There is a very large building project been carried out next door to the motel by the Motel owners building a house while he was at his house in Bali which was not mentioned and the builders start work every day from 07.00. there was no luxury. This was most disappointing as we had to leave the premises every morning early to escape the noise during our stay. They did try to provide an alternative room, however there was no getting away from the building noise. Some of the reviews are very questionable. Having known about the building work I would never had booked at AZURE Byron Bay. there are many other places more suitable and better facilities. The building work is a large project probably lasting two years. If anyone considering booking at Azur Byron Bay should reconsider alternative accommodation as not to spoil your stay.

Convenient!!

Gorgeous villa. Bali vibes! Owner was very accomodating. Spa was lovely and less than a 10 min walk to town, no need to drive!
Pool was a lil cool and only enough space in car park for 2 hours. OSP was free and lucky we got a park there :)
Would stay again.
