The proprieters were really helpful and the rooms were very comfortable and clean.

The first room we were put in had sagging ceilings, water damaged walls to the bathroom, smelled strongly of a sickeningly sweet deodoriser (wondering what that was covering up), and the show did not work. They moved us to another room, slightly cleaner, which that told us was 'to be painted', but was clearly in better condition than the first, but all the surfaces were covered in dust and dirt. The motel is also right by a major road, and the traffic noise on the first floor was non-stop all night.

Good 3 night stay

I had a great stay for 3 nights. I stayed in the queen room with breakfast. A bit pricey but that seems to be Brisbane in general. The room was a good size and bed and bathroom very clean. I was on the balcony room at the rear of the property so I didn’t hear road noise. Sam the owner was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was freshly cooked - bacon and eggs with toast. On Saturday and Sunday I received a continental breakfast pack (good size for breakfast). Laundry room was available for coin payment - there was laundry powder available for a cost per packet. There is a bus stop close by to be able to travel to local shops. Thank you to Sam and his wife for my recent stay.
