Great place for a weekend away

Good location, friendly staff, well set-out room and a nice fire in the foyer to sit by with a glass of wine. Looks like there's a beautiful garden too but, as it was mid-winter, we kept to the fireside!
Beds are comfortable and rooms are quiet but we were happy we brought our own pillows as the pillows were a bit too soft and fluffy for our own personal preference.

More staff required at breakfast

We have stayed in this hotel before and our recollection of it and including our latest stay is that there should be more staff at the breakfast/bar area. We have had to wait for our coffee order for over 30 minutes which is unacceptable, and this occurred in our previous stay as well. I understand if it was once-off event, but this is a repeated issue so that is why I am raising it as an unacceptable issue for a hotel of this standard. The rooms were fine and met expectations, but shower door needs a rubber seal or sweep at the bottom of the door to prevent water from flowing outside the shower.

Exceptional all round.

Could not fault my stay at Hotel Kurrajong. The room, the service, the restaurant, and the general ambiance was perfection. Exceptional all round.

A contemporary, attractive room within a hotel with character and style that you don’t get from a new hotel. The bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom was appeared to be relatively new and modern in design. I was pleasantly surprised by the room as I thought it may be a bit ‘tired’ looking being in an older hotel. Easy access by car. Being over the weekend, you could pay for parking onsite or find nearby street parking. Also handy to have access to 2 small ev chargers if needed. Overall, very happy with my choice of hotel.

The front desk staff assured me that my parking receipt would be sent via email, but I have yet to receive it. This establishment has failed to honor its commitment.
