Highly recommended, would stay here again in a heartbeat!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Harbour Cove. The apartment was such a pleasant surprise, it was even more beautiful than the photos on Booking.com. Everything you could possibly need is provided, the interior feels brand new, and the apartment is impeccably maintained.
The view is simply stunning. Overlooking the marina, it was the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee while watching the harbour come to life. The location couldn’t be better. It’s right next to the marina terminal, where tours such as Camira depart, as well as the ferries to Hamilton Island and Daydream Island. Airlie Beach is within easy walking distance, and Rufus Café is just around the corner for a delicious breakfast or excellent barista-made coffee. Supermarkets and restaurants are only a 15-minute walk away, making it an ideal base for exploring the area.
A special mention goes to Simon, the owner, who made us feel incredibly welcome. Due to heavy traffic, we unfortunately arrived much later than planned and lost a night of our stay. Simon kindly offered us an extra night at no additional cost, which was an incredibly generous gesture and something we truly appreciated. He can also help you book tours, making everything even more convenient.
We honestly didn’t want to leave, we had such an amazing time here. We highly recommend Harbour Cove to anyone visiting the Whitsundays and would love to stay here again.

Good product, but service surely leaves to be desired
The apartment itself is very well furnished and well maintained. However, given the price point (we paid around AUD 550 per night), the overall service fell short of expectations. At this rate, I would expect warmer hospitality and at least alternate-day housekeeping, if not daily service. While nothing was misadvertised, the experience did leave something to be desired.
The location is about a 15-minute walk from the town centre, which doesn’t sound like an issue on paper, but in practice it can be uncomfortable in humid weather and inconvenient when it’s raining.
There were no in-person check-ins or interactions during our four-night stay, which made the experience feel somewhat impersonal. Overall, while the accommodation itself was good, the stay lacked the warmth and service expected at this price point.

Amazing accomodation in an awesome location
I had an amazing stay at Harbour Cove and couldn’t be happier with the accommodation. The location is absolutely perfect , close to town and within easy walking distance of fantastic shops and restaurants. There’s also a lovely café just a two-minute walk away, which was perfect for breakfast.
The room was an excellent size, spotlessly clean, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable, and waking up to the beautiful sunrise with views over the Port of Airlie was a real highlight. The pool area is also lovely and a great place to relax.
Simon was incredibly helpful and genuinely lovely, which made the stay even better. I would definitely stay here again — thank you so much!
The room was an excellent size, spotlessly clean, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable, and waking up to the beautiful sunrise with views over the Port of Airlie was a real highlight. The pool area is also lovely and a great place to relax.

Exceeded our expectations
We booked Harbour cove for two nights prior to our boat trip with friends staying next to us ..
Simon was fantastic with all aspects of communication and welcomed us on arrival.
On entering the apartment we were welcomed by the clean, modern living space, beautiful view of the marina and spacious inviting bedroom and bathroom.
The kitchen has everything needed for a comfortable stay.
The outdoor living space was also a bonus for those afternoon drinks and nibbles ...
We enjoyed swimming in the infinity pool, a nice temperature..
Harbour cove it close to town , with a selection of cafes and eateries only 5 minutes walk away ...
If you are looking for a modern, comfortable, clean and quiet place to enjoy your getaway, I highly recommend giving Simon a call.
