A week at Barcelo

Jason at Kyoto was our favorite server! Thank you for an incredible dinner experience at your restaurant for 2 evenings and the following night at hibachi.
We traveled as a family of 11 with 3 children under the age of 4. The resort was located in a beautiful and central location on Palm Beach. The beach was definitely the highlight of the trip. Calm, clear water for the kids to wade in to. We utilized the playground although it was becoming unsafe with rusted nails and cracking swings. The kids club was helpful for some AC and fun activities. Very clean and friendly staff.
The pool isn’t very kid-friendly with “bartender contests” and loud, explicit music at all times of the day at the pool. There isn’t a kids pool unfortunately.
Our room needed some upgrading with broken shampoo and soap dispensers, our glass door was rusted and coming off the hinges.
We didn’t go to any of the evening entertainment because we had young kids and it didn’t start until 10pm.
Location was incredible! Walking distance to amazing restaurants and shops.

Best Service!

We have stayed at Barcelo Aruba several times. It's one of our favorite places to go. It really is "One happy island". Every year we are always happy to see Marolyn in the time share office, Fray at the dinner buffet, Robert at seafood Mexican, and several other servers and bartenders throughout the resort. Highly recommend!

Amazing

Our experience with the first Club team at Barceló is always special, and so much of that experience was because of Marolyn, Belinda, and Ivette.
From the moment we arrive, they were warm, attentive, welcoming, and genuinely interested in making us feel special. Their professionalism was matched by the personal touch they brought to every interaction.
Marolyn, Belinda, and Ivette—thank you for making us feel seen, valued, and cared for. Your kindness and beautiful spirits made our experience even more memorable.
Sometimes it’s the people you encounter along the way who become the most beautiful part of the journey.

This was my second stay at Hotel Barceló and it did not disappoint. From the sumptuous meals, to the polite staff, choices of various in-house restaurants and entertainment were simply amazing! Very family oriented.

No washcloths, had to tell front desk twice about towels needed, bugs in salad at buffet, room service not included unless royal level, room smelled musty, black mold in bathroom, patio door couldn't open, no conditioner for hair, shampoo was horrendous, pool was disgusting. Property needs to be updated majorly. Location is great, food good service okay for the amount of money spent expected better.
