A location hard to beat.
The location is hard to beat. Nord Avenue puts you right in the pulse of Yerevan — walkable to the main squares, cafes, restaurants, and everything a first-timer or returning visitor would want to explore. That alone earns serious points.
The staff are genuinely friendly, not in a rehearsed hotel-script kind of way — they actually seem happy to help. Special mention to the manager Leanna, who went above and beyond when it counted. The kind of person who turns a minor inconvenience into a non-issue before you even finish explaining it. That level of service is rarer than it should be.
Now, the honest part: the room had a persistent smell — somewhere between stale air and worn socks — that was noticeable from the moment you walked in. Not unbearable, but not something you just stop noticing either. It’s the kind of thing that ventilation or a deep refresh of the soft furnishings would fix.
The bones of the property are solid, which makes it more of a shame.
Bottom line: great location, genuinely good people running the place (special thanks to leanna) but housekeeping and room freshness need a real upgrade to match the rest of the experience.
