Best hotel in Salta

Posada Don Numas is an oasis in the heart of San Lorenzo. The rooms are amazing and spacious. The personnel is very attentive and makes you feel at home. Breakfast is delicious and has a wide range of options. Not to mention that the spa is lovely.

A HORROR!! Do not come

Totally disappointing, they do not even deserve 1 star. The hotel in general is stuck in time
The rooms were poorly renovated, dirty, old towels, dirty bedding, and very hard pillows.
The worst part of all is the staff's service, very bad attitude and rude way of answering. Old and poorly maintained uniforms. They clearly need training!!
We went to have breakfast and we didn't have a table, so they decided to kick out a couple who were lingering after their meal. Few options at breakfast and everything was old from the previous day.
They told us the afternoon snack would be ready by 5:30 PM and we were only able to have it at 6:00 PM, losing time at the spa since it is by appointment, which we only found out once at the establishment.
The recreational pool was freezing and we went in the middle of winter; they told us they couldn't turn up the water temperature any higher. The steam sauna had a disgusting smell and some dirty mats to prevent slipping. The spa robes were all stained, frayed, and they refused to give us towels for the pool.
TOTALLY DISAPPOINTING!! It is not worth what you pay, do not come

Great service, great property but very dated

It is difficult to score this property. On the one hand it is a great deal for the price we paid (<$100!!), with a spa, pool, breakfast, and really nice & quite (except barking dogs....), on the other hand it is really dated, including the spa and gym. Also, no TV in rooms, no coffee maker. But the beds are reasonable (and spacious), the yard and pool very pleasant and comfortable, and the people very pleasant. So how do you score this? In terms of luxury and convenience, I would give this a 2, in terms of experience a 4. That is how I ended up with 3 (average). The dinner was average, steak not the best we had in Argentina, but the experience (outside dinner) was great.

Dear, we regret that your expectations have not been totally satisfied. Also allow us to make the following clarifications about our services: the facilities of the entire establishment, including gym and spa, are continuously modernized, we regret that they do not reach yours standards of luxury and convenience. With regard to the item of not having TV in rooms, comment you that the goal of the hotel is to offer a space for relax and nature contact, so the service is complemented by the spa circuit included in the rate.
Thank you for the points that you stand out about our staff, the comfort of beds and other general services.

Great place to relax

We were looking for a place outside San Lorenzo to relax a bit. This place is a good option. It has a nice pool area and spa. The rooms are big and clean. The personel is helpful. You will need to have a car to reach it though.

Quiet Mountain Retreat- but no English spoken

This spa/retreat on the outskirts of Salta is quiet and restful. There are 2 pools and the rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is not to North American tastes as there are so many sweets and very little protein. The only issue we had is that if you do not speak Spanish do not stay here. The staff are friendly and helpful but speak only Spanish and if are a traveller and want some info you cannot get it here. There was one lady who spoke limited english and did help us a little.
