Super comfortable and perfect location

I stayed 2 nights at the Hotel del Vicerey in Salta and the truth is that the experience was beautiful from start to finish
The location is a smash because it is in the center and you can walk everywhere without problem. The room was super spacious and comfortable, but the highlight was the bed... I rested amazing! After a whole day touring the city, I also enjoyed the pool area, ideal for relaxing for a while.
Breakfast is super complete and very rich, you start the day with everything. And something that really makes a difference is the friendliness of the staff: everyone was very attentive, but I want to highlight especially Leila, who was watching everything we needed, and also Pablo, the director, for the very good recommendations we were given to tour the city
I would definitely stay here again if I returned to Salta. I highly recommend it

Not up to the different reviews, or the Stars displayed

The hotel is definitely not worth the rating it received, nor the 4 stars it claims....
The rooms are dilapidated, smell of humidity, we refused ours so strong the smell was.
As proof the few photos I share with you.
This is a shame, as the hotel is very well located , and could really have a lot of charm , but it requires a real refresher .

Very nice little hotel

We’ve just spent 3 nights at the Hotel & it’s a charming little boutique hotel with very professional and helpful staff. The rooms have had an upgrade relatively recently and are tastefully if simply decorated. The bathrooms could do with an upgrade but are clean and functional and it was nice to have a bath. It’s very close to the main square with all its restaurants & was a very convenient place to stay. All in, nice place & nice people!

Central. Good breakfast.

Hotel quite central. The staff is very welcoming. the room was clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast is in Service at the table. there is no buffet and it’s fine like that. eggs are cooked to order. croissants were perfect.

Super hotel in colonial house in Salta

It is an excellent hotel in a very good location in the city of Salta, whether they are with a car or without a car. You walk a few blocks to the historic center.
The rooms are very spacious and the beds extra large. It is an old colonial house renovated as a hotel, with lovely patios and gardens. Very good breakfast and super friendly owner and employees. We'll be back.
