Cosy hotel in city center

We traveled as a family to Bariloche and used Neuquen as our rest point. We were recomended the hotel by a friend who had stayed there before.
The hotel is easy to find and as we planed on spending a day in Neuquen, it was idealy situated. We didn{t even need to use our rented vehicle, we could walk everywhere.
The hotel is a 3 star hotel with a good continental breakfast included.
Priced well for what they offer.

Never, ever, stay at this hotel

Anyone who rated this place more than one star...must be comparing it to sleeping on the street. I would probable rate sleeping on the street higher than this place. It is clear that this hotel is capitalizing on the fact that it does have an excellent location, and therefore cares nothing about the quality of the property itself. My wife and I stayed there, as did four of my coworkers on a business trip. The rooms were rundown (carpets torn and stained, dirty blankets, etc.) and had a permanent musty smell. One of my colleagues even had a damp floor over half of his room. There is no individual heating/cooling in the rooms, and the management has apparently decided to minimize cost by not running any air. We were sweating all day and all night. In addition, breakfast was minimal, and the staff were not willing to make me a fresh coffee with the espresso machine at the bar. Terrible terrible terrible. I will stay at any random hotel in Neuquen before returning here. The only positive was that the internet worked fine. Also it is not a B&B. I don't know why it's classified that way on TripAdvisor.

Well-located and clean

This hotel is centally located. We had a suite on the bottom floor that consisted of 2 rooms and a bathroom, with 4 beds (3 twins, 1 double) for 330 pesos.The bathroom was spotless with plenty of water pressure and very hot water. There was plenty of soap and shampoo and good towels. The staff was fabulous! We arrived early in the morning after a long bus trip, and they gave us a room to crash in until our room was ready. Breakfast is included in the price, and it was plentiful, nutritious, and appetizing. There is a computer with Internet. Right in front of the hotel on weekends there is a really nice art fair. I would definitely stay here again!

El tiempo pasa...

Hotel muy bien ubicado, frente a la Catedral. Es difícil de describir. Ha sido un hermoso hotel, pero se va apagando. Habitaciones limpias, con detalles. Televisor de pantalla plana. Buen desayuno. Personal muy amable.
Con mantenimiento y mejoras en decoración y algunos detalles sería un hotel mucho mas prestigioso.

Buena ubicación, falta de mantenimiento

Hotel bien ubicado, pero que ha ido perdiendo calidad con el correr del tiempo. Habitaciones demasiado básicas, sin veladores, muy pocos enchufes, baños sin toalleros, ropa de cama pobre, desayuno escaso. Buena atención del personal.
