Hotel Lido

This hotel is located just 3 blocks from the beach and 2 blocks from a quite big shopping center. The hotel and the rooms are clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are a little small, but as a solo traveler it was not a problem for me. There is a phone, flatscreen tv, safe, heating and bathroom in the room. There was not an AC in my room. I did not need an AC because I stayed in autumn in this hotel. Instead worked the heating.

I DON'T RECOMMEND IT.

LOTS OF HUMIDITY, POORLY EDUCATED STAFF. ATTENTION IS BAD AND IT'S ALL BROKEN.

ALL THE HOTEL DOES IS GO TO SLEEP AND STAY THE NIGHT. AND GET OUT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. AND THE RAINY DAYS SAVE YOU, BUT IF THE WINDOW IS ON THE STREET SIDE CLOSE IT BECAUSE WATER COMES IN.
EVERYTHING, I DON'T LIKE IT. AND DID NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL IS A MESS FROM THE MAIN ENTRANCE TO THE ROOM. A LOT OF HUMIDITY THAT YOU FEEL JUST WALK INTO THE HOTEL. THE POOR ATTITUDES OF THE STAFF, THE SMALL ROOMS WITHOUT ICE CREAM, WITHOUT MICROWAVE, WITH BROKEN HANDLES, THE TV DOES NOT GRAB WELL THE CHANNELS, THERE IS NOT GOOD VENTILATION, YOU HEAR EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENS IN THE STREET, THE BED ARE TWO OF A PLACE JOINED AND UPSTAIRS WITH A FINITE MATTRESS THAT JOINS THEM, NOT LIE IN THE MIDDLE BECAUSE YOU RUN THE BEDS AND YOU CAN END UP ON THE FLOOR, AND A BROKEN FAN, CLEANS IT THE FIRST DAY WELL, THEN EAGERLY. AND TRY TO AVOID NOT ENDING UP WITH HEALTH PROBLEMS FROM THE MOISTURE YOU FEEL. WATCH OUT FOR THE STAIRS AND WHERE THEY GRAB BECAUSE ALL THE LOOSE RAILINGS ARE AND THERE IS VERY BAD ENERGY FROM THE STAFF, DON’T ASK ANYTHING FROM THE RECEPTIONISTS BECAUSE THEY DO IT UNWILLINGLY, THERE ARE MANY ILL-MANNERED PEOPLE WHO DON’T EVEN TELL YOU GOOD DAY, EVERYONE IS FORCEFUL, NOTHING IS REAL. AND THE STAFF AT THIS HOTEL IS THE MAIN THING TO AVOID.. A MESS EVERYTHING.

Only your employees serve

The receptionists and the breakfast lady are excellent...the rooms are terrifying...I went several times...the last one was a disaster in the bathroom...everything...they changed my room and it was worse...the window overlooked a pigeon deposit...disgusting...

Basic

This hotel is really well located, walking distance to the beach and close to all amenities. It's a pity there's no bar or restaurant within the hotel to mingle. It's on a busy street so expect some noise and the walls are paper thin so we heard some things we didn't really want to hear if you get my gist. Staff were very nice and friendly. Our room was a bit cold and they were cleaned every second day but each time we were left with no toilet paper. The breakfast was only alright for a hotel. I would have expected a bit better. There wasn't a lot of fruit but it was ok with bread, croissants and cereal. If looking for somewhere very basic and well located then this is your place. If you're looking for good atmosphere, a bit of luxury then this isn't it.

Good value hotel with a friendly staff

We decided to spend some days at Mar del Plata for some beach leisure. Hotel Lido is within walking distance from the beach and Guermes, where you may find good shopping. The breakfast is good, especially the freshly made fruit salad.
