The best hotel I could have chosen.

Actually, I was super happy with the attention of all hotel employees. Very good price-product ratio. It is in front of the main square, which makes everything easier for you. You have restaurants, bars, museums, cafes, all in a range of five blocks around, plus pedestrian streets perpendicular to the hotel street.
I went alone, the spotless room, a comfortable bathroom, with bidet (data not less, good temperature and pressure of the shower water), two single beds with light table, desk with chair, wifi in the room, air conditioning and TV.
Cleaning girls a love. All very nice. I recommend it and would go again.
There are places where you can sit and read quietly. It has a desktop computer always at the passenger's disposal.

It is a Medium Service Hotel, with good breakfast, well located, clean but it is an old hotel, no air conditioned pool that was the Service I requested

A hotel with good location

The hotel is nice, the best is definitely the location. The rooms are not too spacious, but quite comfortable; the mattresses are very good. The bathroom is comfortable, although a little dated.
Breakfast is good, there is not a great variety of things, but what there is, is very good quality. The service is very good; the people are very friendly and affable, except for one of the concierges, named Solana who is extremely ill educated; she treats you as if she does you a great favor, in a bad way, as if the passengers instead of paying her salary, we are getting in the way of her life...

Bad experience

Very central hotel but very outdated and with poor or no maintenance.
The elevator is prehistoric. In the room the heating did not work, the carpet was dirty and the hot water took about 5 minutes to come out of the tap.

NEEDS UPDATING

Besides the excellent location, the Hotel Plaza is a place stuck in the early 1970s. It is in great need of refurbishment and updating, especially the bedding and towels which are thin and rough. The staff is very friendly and accommodating; they allowed a later check out (12 rather than 11) as my husband had been unwell through the night. We were told there was a 'free to consult doctor' provided by the hotel- unfortunately we got this information as we were checking out; it would have been good if the person on duty had mentioned it when I had requested a later check out. It's good enough for a night stop over. It seems to be the best available in the center of town.
In desperate need of better bedding and towels.
