Good value secure hotel

Modern international 4* hotel that ticks most boxes: nice rooms, generally good maintenance, secure, reasonable restaurant bar and restaurant and nice pool.
An oddity for me was that they claimed no awareness of my booking.com reservation, just as they had not replied to an email from me sent the day before arrival (and never did). I negotiated the price down to what I had a reservation for in a couple of minutes, and paid cash. But after this unencouraging start everything went to plan, with a helpful front desk that even negotiated down a taxi fare back to the airport.
The occupancy level seemed really low on my visit: I saw one other person at breakfast, one other person in the evening restaurant, and nobody in the bar.
The hotel has a basically modern feel and is spacious, and whatever I asked for happened without a problem. Limited choice of tv channels but found BBC World as the only English channel. No complaints.

Good Location in Luanda Angola

Hotel is one street away from the great promenade of Luanda. It is spacious and Large, rooms comfortable and Staff friendly. People of Angola very friendly altough Portugease is essential for business. There is a pool on the 3rd Floor with Outside Area.

Terribly disappointing...

Pre-fab hotel imported from China - even the thermostat is in Mandarin! Very poor cleanliness and hygiene. Confirmed airport transfer in writing, though did not arrange it. Very loud partying in common areas, but staff more concerned about party guests than hotel guests. Terrible stay - just pay extra to stay at the Presidente next door.

Good hotel for business

Overall good hotel for business , the rooms are spacious and overall fine but little dated , the lobby is very spacious and elegant , the bar is nice and they do nice drinks , the reception helpful whenever anything requested , the breakfast is ok especially nice fruits , needs more variety for breakfast

Forthcoming staff, comfortable room

Very kind, professional and forthcoming staff (everyone from management, reception, waiters, guards, spa etc). Room clean, well equipped and nicely furnished. Lobby spaceous, elegant. Nice pool, spa and gym. The restaurant menu could be more varied (mostly fries and meet), but the restaurant staff always tried, to the best of their ability, adapt the dishes to my wishes. On the downside: I had to pay cash as their machine did not accept MasterCard with a chip.
