WARM AND FRIENDLY

Avery nice stay in Ludza helped by the lovely girls at the hotel, the breakfast girls were lovely! hotel was clean and everything worked well , good food and great price,would I stay again? yes I would without a second thought..

Nice hotel, sympathetic staff, lovely restaurant cuisine. One thing but, no air conditioning, roof window without blinds.

A room on the 3rd floor with a window in the roof without blinds and some sort of curtain, the sun shining directly into the room, the heat unbearable, the staff offered a fan, but it did little to help. For 53 euros, comfort is bad. Comfortable bed and clean linen.

One big hole

I could accept that the furniture is worn down or decoration and floor looks like done by monkey or a 5th grader. But I can't tolerate if chairs in the room look like they're taken out from garbage bin or that the "double" bed is 2 "on-the-verge-of-collapse" single beds put together with foam in between.
Definitely can't recommend. On the contrary - better choose another place.

An acceptable hotel in a remote location

Lucia is a rather small hotel in the eastern part of Latvia which is not massively visited by tourists. It can only accept 38 guests, but the rooms are quite spacious and nice. We had a corner room with two windows and wonderful views of the small town. The only thing that bothered us was a squeaky floor. We were afraid to walk, because we could wake up guests in other rooms.
Breakfast was adequate, the choice of foods quite limited, but food was fresh and tasty. Evidently the quantity was limited, too, because the last ones to get up had a hard time finding something to eat. (It's an early bird that catches a worm.)

great hotel

good things :great place in the center old ludza. we liked the hotel staff. place for parking. good breakfast.
not good : no refrigerator in some rooms. transparent curtains.so cant sleep well in morning's.
thin doors.bad water flow in the shower... difficult to regulate water temperature.
bottom line is that for its price its a great hotel.
