NICE RESORT
Lumbini Palace Resort is a beautiful retreat with exceptional amenities and friendly staff. The rooms are spacious, the food is delicious, and the facilities are top-notch.
However, the General Manager displayed a troubling lack of hospitality and professionalism. We tried to communicate with him about a 15-day business program and feedback, but he neither agreed to meet us nor responded to our calls. This unresponsiveness was disappointing and unprofessional.
Overall, while the resort itself is excellent, the General Manager's attitude is a significant drawback.
However, the General Manager displayed a troubling lack of hospitality and professionalism. We tried to communicate with him about a 15-day business program and feedback, but he neither agreed to meet us nor responded to our calls. This unresponsiveness was disappointing and unprofessional.
Overall, while the resort itself is excellent, the General Manager's attitude is a significant drawback.

Stunning view, service, food and beautiful people
Amazing place, wonderful service, friendly people, tasty food. We loved our pond villa stay. The view was breathtaking. The boat service for food delivery and transport was so punctual. Every member was giving service with smile. We loved it

Very disappointing
We checked into Lumbini Palace Resort on November 24, 2023, for a two-night stay. Our experience was flawless; there were no service issues, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. However, upon checking out, I realized I had carelessly left behind a very important item in the room.
The day after our departure, I contacted the hotel to inquire about my belongings. They assured me they had found them and would promptly send them back to me. Initially relieved, I awaited their response eagerly. However, as days passed, I received no updates despite my repeated requests for them to send my belongings via courier, with me covering the costs.
Unfortunately, the hotel failed to respond to my requests, leaving me to make weekly follow-up calls. After more than three months of waiting, I was informed that my belongings had been lost. The excuses provided, such as changes in management or staff not being on duty, seemed unprofessional and lacked accountability.
Losing items of great religious significance has been distressing, and the lack of genuine concern from the hotel only exacerbated the situation. Additionally, the absence of any communication from the new manager further highlighted the hotel's disregard for customer care.
As someone involved in the travel industry, I had considered recommending Lumbini Palace Resort to my clients. However, based on my experience, I have decided against it. It's clear that the resort's staff need better training and a deeper understanding of their responsibilities in the hospitality industry. This incident serves as a reminder that exemplary customer service is essential for sustaining success in this field...

Beautiful pot with a sense of serenity
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. This place was situated in a really good spot which was really peaceful and the ambience is really good . However, my culinary expectations were not met. despite the visually appealing food presentation, the flavours fell short of my expectations and they definitely could improve the taste and portions considering the price label. On a positive note, the rooms were impeccably maintained which reflected the hotel's commitment to comfort and sophistication. the beds were also clean and comfy. The services were outstanding with a staff attentive to every need. The overall experience was elevated by the lavish accommodations and impeccable service, making the stay memorable despite the culinary hiccup.

One of the best resort in Nepal. The resort is in middle of village of Terai hence you will get close experience of the village lifestyle of terai of Nepal. Better to have your own vehicle since it is middle of village. 10/10 experience.
