Super dog friendly

Had a lovely lunch in the terrace over looking the beach. The staff were amazing. So friendly and loved my dog.. they gave him a lot of attention. We were made really welcome. Most places tolerate dogs but this hotel genuinely loved having him there. The lunch was delicious and served quickly. The waitresses were super attentive. The view was gorgeous even on a cold misty winter afternoon. Will definitely go back. Thank you for being so kind

What a waste of money!

We went to a Bottomless brunch yesterday at the Cliff despite having a lovely waitress Hannah, she was clearly over run and pressured with work.
Food was dreadful, place was very disorganized and the manager was very rude! We complained to him about waiting for a cocktail for an hour, his answer was ‘you’re lucky you got one at all’.
The Cliff used to be a prestigious place to visit but not now.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cliff hotel. It was freshly redecorated everywhere and very clean. Our room was spacious and comfortable with complimentary tea/coffee. The service was average but a lovely waitress at breakfast made up for it. Gluten free bread and oat milk were available. The outside spaces were very pleasant with nice views. The food was average.

2 Nights Hotel Stay

We had a 2 night stay here with breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed it. Lovely room with a partial sea view, clean and comfortable. The staff were all friendly, the lady taking the breakfast orders, Maggie, was great, very knowledgeable about the hotels history and the area. Convenient car parking at the Hotel. Would definitely recommend and will stay here again if in the area.

Staff amazing, food blah

Took my friend out for afternoon tea for her birthday. Lovely to sit out on the terrace looking out over the sea. Our waitress, Katelyn, was amazing, she couldn't do enough for us. She was very friendly and cheerful and fulfilled all our requests. The food was a bit disappointing. There was no garnish on the plates. The middle one just had 2 scones and 2 pats of butter, it looked very sad. The best part of the whole thing was the viennese whirls.
Thank you Katelyn, you made the afternoon delightful.
