【Room】
The most reasonable room is the twin room without bath and toilet in the main building, which is the oldest style room since the founding of Seisen Dormitory. The rooms are quite simple, with only a small table and chairs by the window, two beds and a washroom, but with a veranda where you can enjoy the relaxing view of the Seisen Dormitory. It is an old wooden building, but the heating was good, and it was hot, so I even opened the windows a little to cool it down. There is no TV. It's a long way to the public baths and restaurants, and you have to walk endlessly through the cold corridors, and then get out and walk down the corridors.
【Meals】
Even if it's the cheapest room, of course the meal is the same in every room. This was my first weekend use, so both dinner and breakfast were Vikings tile. All of them were very delicious and the menu was full of vegetables typical of Seisen Dormitory. However, I was not very good at buffets in the first place, so I thought I'd prefer the weekday course menu style or the main-choice half buffet. We want to eat delicious food calmly … so next time, we will avoid the full buffet.
【bath】
In the area of the room without bath, there is a common shower room, but I wanted to soak in the bath in the middle of winter, so I used the large bath. The public bath is quite far from the main building. The public bath used to be a hot spring, but it seems to have died and is now boiling water. But from the open-air bath, you can see the snow-capped Southern Alps and the starry sky.
【Cospa】
It cost just under 10,000 yen for off-season, single use and early reservations with two meals. The cost is pretty good.

Seisen-ryo is pronounced "seisen-ryo" and is named after one character each from the local villages of Kiyosato and Oizumi.
As a hotel it has a history and a story, but as a tourist spot it has unfortunately become vulgarized and gets a low rating (this is my personal opinion).
There are at least two shops on the premises.
It used to be famous for its soft serve ice cream, but now there is a wide variety of food options and you can spend a lot of time there. However, I felt that it would take too long to go there just for the purpose of visiting the place.
That said, the soft serve ice cream has a smooth texture and is delicious!
