Very disappointed
I was the only guest there, and 10 mins later, load shedding kicked in. No generator switch over. I waited at the front door, in the rain, for 35 mins for someone to arrive to put the power on! In the interim, some random employee on the property came to 'sit' with me until the duty manager got there. As he was on the phone and didn't say a lot, not sure what good that was???
There are no bacon and egg rolls on the go all the time, and no cosy bar, and you are a good way from anything to eat. So don't arrive hungry or thirsty.
Additionally, if you need to look yourself in the mirror, or ladies - dry your hair- please bring your own mirror, as outside if the shaving mirror in the bathroom, there are none.
There are not even two pin plugs so they can plug their own lamps in.
Breakfast was good if you aren't vegetarian or vegan - if so, sorry for you. No fruit etc.
My TV then didn't work, and it took the duty manager another 10 mins to fix that.
All in all, I arrived at 19h45, and eventually managed to get into my room and run a bath by 21h20. So much for a relaxing evening going over my work. And then the duty manager tried to convince me that they were full- and I was the only person rattling around in the place.
Rooms were spacious and comfortable.
On departure, a whole new set of people didn't seem to be bothered as to how my stay had been or what I had been. Avoid it 8f you can
