5 star hotel
Very good hotel, best accommodation I've ever had. Great service, very knowledgeable staff, excellent breakfast too, clean towels and well-kept bed liners, very cozy bed.

5-star hotel for 3.5 stars.
Pretty clean numbers. Stayed in a big room for two. A decent breakfast in general. If you like fruit, it's not high quality. There's a strong audibility in the rooms of what's being done outside. There's a spa. However, the sauna has been out of service for several years. When asked why, the managers said something must have broken. The pool water changes once a month and for this reason is not very clean. There's no purification system, and chlorine is pouring in. Swimming is not very pleasant.

Faded Grandeur
I suppose this is the best that Kyzylorda can offer and it looks quite impressive on the surface but stay and you will quickly realise that this hotel is very dated and things only half work. The first thing that greets you in the corridor as you approach your room is a kind of stale smell characteristic of hotels that are past their sell by date. The room was large but had harsh lighting and curtains that were very difficult to open and close. Bathroom was clean but the hot water soon ran out in the morning.
Breakfast was very second rate with cheapish products that really did not taste good and I found the porridge was all I wanted to eat. Hot options were particularly bad.
No laundry bags or list and so I called reception and someone came to collect it. She spoke no English and had nothing to put the clothes in and I had to supply my own bag. They washed it reasonably but it was very expensive and should have been completed to top notch standard.
Very little English spoken. My hotel was pre-paid but when I checked in they could not find the booking. Said the manager would deal with it the next day. I resent the authority from my travel agent by email. When I came to check out they said the bill had not been paid and I was very much delayed by this and ended up having to pay with my own bank card. A hotel of this size should be able to deal with overseas bookings and pre-payments.
Would definitely not go back.

Dirty Hotel
Check-in is only from 2 p.m., not before.
The hotel seems beautiful, but at the same time very dirty, needs renovation.
The rooms are big. The room was chilly, the balcony doors don't close, the bathroom has such a noise, the staff says the extractor works. No noise insulation. And not even the phone set works. Why not check the room before checking in the guest is unknown’•️
All shortcomings were reported to hotel staff, zero reaction.
Then they changed the number to another, but that number is no better than that number, same flaws.
The staff act like you're living in their apartment for free, unwelcome.
The hotel is not worth its money.

Nice, clean hotel. Staff nice but annoyed at missing items after check out.
Travelling through from Almaty to Bozoi.
The bed was the hardest bed I’ve ever slept on and as a global traveller there is some stiff competition.
Used the gym and the spa. Gym ok and spa water was cold. Unfortunately left my shorts and T-Shirt hanging in the bathroom when I checked out. My colleague rang within 24 hours and the missing items were strangely nowhere to be seen. I know this is 100% my fault but you would think they could be returned given the timeframe.
Staff really nice and the place is immaculately clean.
