Pricey but worth it

Amstel Hotel has been continuously run as a Hotel for 150 and has hosted many celebrities. True old world charm with beautiful lobby, wood paneled elevator, and fresh flowers in the hallways. Great location situated on the canal provides canal views from your room, the restaurant and also from the pool. You will have many dining options in Amsterdam but don’t miss dining at the Amstel. The meals are superb we enjoyed Breakfast and we enjoyed our sever George (originally from Greece) at dinner. The room is gorgeous and spacious including the bathroom with glass doors separating the toilet and the shower stall from the tub , sinks and towel warmer, allowing a couple to both use the bathroom at the same time comfortably. Pricey but worth it.

A Perfect Stay at the InterContinental Amstel Amsterdam

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Perfect Stay in Amsterdam!
We had an amazing stay at the InterContinental Amstel Amsterdam. The hotel is beautiful, elegant, and maintained to the highest standards. Our room was spacious, spotless, and extremely comfortable.
The service throughout the hotel was exceptional. Every member of the staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely focused on making our stay memorable.
One of the highlights was the breathtaking view of the Amstel River. Waking up each morning to such a beautiful riverside view made the experience even more special.
The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of high-quality options, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was luxurious yet welcoming.
This is truly one of the finest hotels in Amsterdam, and we would happily return on our next visit. Highly recommended!

Incredible, helpful concierge, Peter. Beautiful property. Classic. Wonderful pool and hot tub. Helpful staff. Only tiny complaint is absence of USB ports in the rooms, and no financial channels like CNBC or Bloomberg. Overall, a very pleasant stay for us. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel with top notch staff

The hotel staff is absolutely top notch. The hotel is situated right on the river and is walking distance to some attractions though a short ride share trip for many. The hotel is clean and has everything you would expect in a 5 star hotel. If you are looking for first rate accommodations this is the place for you. The only downside is that it is quite expensive.
