A gem.
We’d been looking for a location further towards the centre of the City, and then stumbled across Terran’s Hotel on Facebook. Since we like Montmatre we diced to give it a go.We were really pleased with it, particularly the staff who are all excellent. Our Eiffel Tower view room on the 6th floor was good for the price (about €400 inc breakfast per night). Two little balconies. Very comfy bed. Bathroom had a shower over the bath (quite a climb in). Lots of other little niceties like a good coffee machine and a wireless speaker. We weren’t too keen on the red theme, but we knew that was likely. Breakfast was fantastic. Not a massive selection but all very nice. Meats, gorgeous cheeses. I had a wonderful omelette with mushrooms and cheese. We also had drinks on the rooftop terrace in the evening. It get busy with ‘outsiders’ but hotel guests will get seated. The walk up to the touristy area in Montmatre and the Sacre Coeur only takes about 10 minutes. All in all a great stay and highly recommended in all respects!

Bastille Day fireworks without the crowds!
This review is of the Terass's rooftop restaurant--we did not stay at the hotel.
My husband and I enjoyed the Bastille Day fireworks while we enjoyed the BEST meal I've ever had. Located in Montmartre, the rooftop has an excellent view of the Eiffel Tower. There were two options for the evening: The outdoor terrace had free admission and limited food options, and the restaurant had a prix fixe, six-course meal.
While we originally hoped to go to the outdoor area, it was full when we arrived at about 5:00 p.m. So, if you prefer that--go early to get a spot!
We were offered the option of a table inside, and taking it was one of the best experiences of my life! Every course was delicious, the views were spectacular, and the atmosphere was "classy festive." Every course they brought out, I proclaimed, "This is the best thing I've ever eaten!" But then they'd bring the next course, and it would be even better!
And, when we did the math, we realized that had we traveled from Montmartre to the Eiffel Tower area, spent 5-6 hours in the heat buying food and beverages, then trying to fight the crowd and Metro closings to return to our hotel after, we probably came out even on the cost.
If you will be in town July 14 and don't want to brave the crowds and closed Metro to go to Champs Mars, this is a wonderful way to

Overall hotel was very good. Staff was super friendly, room was clean, location was good. The only caveat is I requested and paid for 2 separate beds but was given the room with 2 twin beds together that could not be separated due to the size of the room

Highly recommend this hotel in Monmartre! The hotel is located in a nice location of the area. Easy walking to the sights. The staff is very accommodating and very nice. Comfortable bed and room. Great terrace bar with wonderful views of Paris. The restaurant is very good as well.

Fabulous hotel with the friendliest staff
Excellent stay at Terrass"! Arrived early on our first day and was greeted by the lovely Jeanne who helped us store our luggage and offered us the use of the restroom and lobby refreshment bar. We were absolutely made to feel welcome from the first moment we arrived. Jeanne also gave us the information that we needed to set out on our first day of exploring the neighbourhood-it is a great lively area with so much to see-was glad to have taken a day for walking it. On our return to the hotel, we were pleased to find out that our luggage had been moved up to our room, and after a couple of drinks on the rooftop overlooking Paris, headed to our room. The room was perfect, spacious with plenty of storage for our four night stay with a comfortable bed. We were so lucky to have a very nice balcony (merci Jeanne!) where we could watch the bustle of the city and see the sunset, too! Everything in the room was very clean, and the washroom and coffee bar had all of the essentials. From Terrass it was really simple to use transit to get to our daily starting points with a bus stop steps from the door and Metro stations less than ten minutes away on foot. We enjoyed most of our meals in the Montmartre neighbourhood, the selection within minutes of walking is enough that we could have stayed weeks without trying them all! I enjoyed learning the hotel's history, and would love to return to see the result of the addition of the neighbouring hotel and pool and to enjoy a massage at Nuxe. If we were not so busy having fun, we would have tried out the workout areas. All staff were friendly and helpful, thank you to David for providing us with the tote bag, and to another gentleman who sought out an umbrella for me to use on a rainy evening. Great hotel, would definitely return. .
