Paris accommodation is expensive. No it's not the Ritz but, our hotel and room were great. Location is excellent! Acouple in our 60's we were travelling by train and access to metro etc was really easy. We spent more time walking though as plenty of really good bars and restaurants etc were so close. No, it's not right in the heart of the tourist district, it's way better! Better pricing, more local Parisian vibe and an easy commute to the key attractions.
The room was spacious and really comfortable. All we needed. Would totally stay again.
Staff were great. Ask very friendly and helpful. Thanks guys!! Totally recommend.

Move along, there are 20 times better options just a few steps away.

Unfortunately, I share the majority of the reviews. The prices charged are scandalously high compared to the overall quality of the hotel and its rooms. I stayed in room 403, which was quite small, outdated, not soundproof, without air conditioning, with curtains that were not opaque enough, a dirty and damaged bathtub, no bath mat, a hairdryer fixed to the wall next to the shower that was consistently wet, in short, a disaster (which will cost you dearly).

not expensive, but still too much....

Room so cramped that a 140 cm bed is not possible: 120 cm bed
no air conditioning, so on these hot days, it is unbearable.
the plumbing is broken, the bathtub without a plug actually serves as a shower:
so why keep a bathtub: put in a shower!!!!
not even soap in the shower/bathtub.
the bathroom door does not close.
add to that the hotel is noisy.
the reception is minimalist.
the organization of the schedule from another time (old notebook) and the person at the reception cannot find the reservation which is poorly written in a corner.
did not have breakfast, but given the room, it is better to have it in the bar around the corner....
in short, a disaster ...
it is not expensive, but it does not even deserve that.
room 302 just in case ....

This is a extra extra small hotel, room, bathroom, everything small and uncomfortable. But wait to see the elevator, this is a one fit person only elevator, never seen anything like this. Staff not particularly friendly and helpful (except one new guy last day) they dont speak any other language than French, I tried several without success.
Location is great, close to Bastille and at walking distance from Notre Dame.

The hotel is basic but has what one needs. It is clean and comfortable. Convenient location for metro and Gare de Lyon. Would recommend adding decaf coffee to breakfast possibilities and soap in shower. The staff was excellent, very responsive throughout to all of our questions.
