Convenient for walking....

We stayed in this hotel for two nights on the three villages walk. Very convenient for the location, the car can be easily parked both inside the gate of the structure and outside at no cost. The rooms are large and the bathroom although not very large is equipped with a hairdryer, shower gel shampoo and shower cap. The breakfast is varied, both sweet and savory and the manager is very friendly gave us several tips for both the walk and the restaurants.

It didn't meet our expectations.

Expect more from this Albergo, we stayed one night while doing the Via Francigena. How it was all busy we were accommodated in a nearby apartment, which had no Wifi or heating. The service was good, we got blankets. Good breakfast.

You really have no business here, just awful.

Without any explanation, we were dumped in the annex, a block away. It's awful. You really don't want to spend a night here. The bed was put in a former living room with a fireplace next to the bed. In wind at night, the soot particles, ash and dust flew around your ears. The adjacent kitchen was dirty, smelled of old fermented fat and oil. The bathroom was tiny and poorly maintained. The mattress at least 20 years old.
Breakfast was ‘served’ in the albergo itself, but was substandard. By 8 o'clock we were out of bread and butter. Dry crumpets and cake remained. Dirty cutlery, greasy plates, unfriendly service.
Why are these people opening an Albergo??? Not to please other people, that's for sure.
In short, stay away from here. At least until these people are owners/operators.
