Good hotel that exceeded expectations.

Good hotel. Friendly staff, friendly staff. Nice view from balcony. Ample (free) parking. Italian (lots of sweets) nice breakfast. Restaurant available. Eaten there twice. Actually, nothing to criticize.

Peace at the foot of Fort Fenestrelle

Really a beautiful place, incredible peace, courteous and helpful staff. Highly recommended for those passing through here.
Downstairs there is also a pizza restaurant while higher up there is a SPA.
The interiors are furnished in an elegant and suggestive style.

my first time at the Lion

I stayed one night with my dog. The hotel has a parking lot, is located in a strategic position to reach the various tourist destinations nearby. I stayed in a triple room, unfortunately without balcony, on the whole cozy although it would be appropriate to add some electrical outlet, in fact to charge the phone I had to unplug the television.... Good breakfast (improvable) very kind staff even with my dog. It is possible to dine at the property. Good value for money although I find excessive 10 euros for the dog.

a pleasant experience on the occasion of a small holiday

On a trip to Mount Assietta we stayed at Hotel Lion. Excellent experience both as regards the structure, clean and cared for in every detail, both for the kindness and helpfulness of the owner Mr. Augustine and the staff. Dinner with friends in the restaurant they run, excellent dinner with a variety of dishes including local. Cheap treatment of all respect Highly Recommendation. Adriano Andreoli

An excellent restaurant, and not only

We ate at Restaurant Pizzeria Lion a dozen times. At the restaurant we have always chosen the fish menu because fish, shellfish and shellfish are always fresh, tasty and smell of the sea, the Ligurian Sea. Excellent pasta (fresh) with mussels (of Lerici and marinades as they do only in Lerici!); after all, the Maître Chef Lorena is from Sarzana. The same goes for Pasta all'Arrabbiata fish: all fresh, tasty and fragrant! Even Agostino, Lorena's husband and chef, is Sicilian, from Noto, and knows about seafood dishes. That's why in half the mountains (!!) we prefer the fish menu. Al Lion è
better eat the fish the second half of the week and ask first what is the menu of the day.
Since we stay near the Hotel Lion, I also took many pizzas. In my opinion, Mario the pizza maker knows how to do it: the dough is well made and long rising, the pizzas are many, well seasoned, well cooked and not at all greasy!
All the premises are just clean and the kitchen is open.
The service is good and pleasant.
