Beautiful island with a familiar service

It was our first, but probably not our last visit of Il sole verde. We had a warm welcome and received many tips for trips through the Tuscan vineyards. The Agriturismo is well located in middle of Tuscany to reach e.g. Firenze, Siena and many more spots in a day trip. The apartment was clean and functional. The pool area is amazing and Guidos red wine very delicious. We could highly recommend this holiday resort.

One of the finest places in Toscane

From the moment we arrived, we had a pleasant homecoming feeling.
Guido is a very motivad and serving host, he surprised us every day with his tips, the best wine and olive oil from his own farm. His stories will always be in our heart.
The accomodation (Titania) was very clean and we had everything we needed. The garden, the swimmingpool and the vineyards are just amazing! Swimming between the landscapes and the mountains brings you a really comforting vacation-feeling. You're in the middle of Italies finest nature but still you have everything you need. We would recommand this to everyone!

Excellent holiday house with very friendly owners

We have visited Il Sole Verde for two weeks with our two chilldren of 13 and 15 and we have enjoyed our stay very much. The houses are cousy with a complete kitchen and a lot of outdoor space. For the boys there was a lot of space and outdoor activities. They especially like the archery bow and the swimming pool. Guido and Angela are very friendly hosts and have provided us with many tips of places to visit in the Toscane Chianty region. The wine and olive oil proceded are very tasty and to conlcude the holiday was la dolce vita.

A nice appartement with a very friendly and helpful owner

We arrived in heavy rain and ran into the common room, which has a free Wifi. Our appartment was still cleaned at that moment, but we were greeted by the friendly owner, Guido, and invited to a cup of coffee and tea. For about half an hour we talked about the history of the agrotourismo and his own philosophy in making wine.
We entered our well-equipped and large appartement "La Stalla", a cozy and friendly place to stay. A bottle of his home-made wine and fresh flowers on the table welcomed us, letting us feel very lucky and comfortable.
Two days later Guido invited us for a trip through his vineyards, explaining his different methods of growing the trees and picking the grapes (machinery and by hand). He demonstrated us the work in the vineyards and his small cellar to "grow" the wine.
Alltogether, it is a beautiful place to relax and having a good holiday with plenty of wine. You can hear the noise of the street, but the relaxing atmosphere of the garden and the pool and the terrace making you get used to it.
The agrotourismo was a little difficult to find, as it is some 2 km west of the Google Maps position. Guido is aware of this, but Google doesn't react on his "complains".

Very good appartment with friendly people

We went with 2 adults and 2 young children. Guido and his wife are very friendly and helpfull. They speak English very well, not every Italian can do that. The appartments are clean and spacious. The garden is large, you can use for free: archery, washing machine, swimming pool, ping pong, bikes. To visit the famus Tuscany villages, il sole verde is situated very well. Firence by train, Siena in +/- 30 minutes, Pisa in +/- 90 min.
