First Camp Nora – caravan, Alntorp, 4 nights, v. 30, July-2026. 4 persons (2 adults, + 2 young).
Small, simple campsite, close to the wooden town Nora (standing walking distance, but would not say so, considering that we have the energy to walk even inside Nora town and go back in that case, we took the car), swimming area, missing eg area bikes (there were 2 pcs, for children, did not seem very used, hilly area etc), missing eg bistro and entertainment two / three nights a week at the area's bistro, and very worn mini golf course (simple courses, does not seem very used, we simply did not have time to try it).
The cottage, caravan Alntorp, nicer and more functional in the living area, very very compressed, narrow corridor to sleeping places, not sofa bed as it says, but ordinary corner sofa (place built), short on one part, so two slightly taller people will be difficult (you bump o each other's feet, woken up at night by the lack of space).
Unnecessary wardrobe in one small bedroom, just above the bed (strange to have your feet cramped under the wardrobe…), considering that there is a large walk-in closet / larger wardrobe in the bedroom with a wider bed (not double bed, narrower double bed). Wardrobes lack utility without hangers… Better with shelves.
Partially worn in shower room, molding on wall had loosened, told at reception, would be fixed.
Indicates that you do not go through and check after each guest has checked out.
A strange old unfunctional towel rail on the wall could have been removed.
The electric stove broke down during our quite short stay, had to call the emergency number (which turned out to Securitas, who did not know routines, would return, we had to call back).
The caretaker of the campsite came and turned on the main fuse, but did not reconnect to us. Had to call the emergency number again.
Overall, a small and simple campsite, partly hilly terrain, holds for a short visit, as does the town of Nora, although there were a few nice excursions to do (go to Jerle town, and nearby nice old station building at Jerle, with garden cafe, also indoor seating; sandwiches and pastries, ice cream, and exhibition(s).

Expensive for nothing
Boring (and difficult to get into) places you are assigned with a small cart, furthest away, far from service houses of which there is only 1.
The wifi they advertise is only available at reception.
Expensive paid 1170 for 2 nights with no offer at all at the campsite.
Excellent location
56 Kungsgatan, Nora, 713 32, Sweden|0.82 km from city centre
