First time at Sparks
First time using this chain which is part of Hilton. Positioned slightly below Hampton, this location was fully renovated in 2024. Nice contemporary vibe with clean room and well-maintained public areas. Mini frig but no microwave in our room (public micro in lobby ). Free bagel breakfast. We’ll try another Sparks location.

Met all of our needs for a two night getaway.
Our first floor room was clean and quiet. The shower water pressure felt so good. The breakfast offerings were tasty and satisfying. Christine at the front desk was pleasant and helpful in making suggestions. We make an annual trip to Lancaster and will plan on staying here again. It was also very convenient to Sight &Sound Theater.

Disappointed
This hotel seems to be a step lower than the Hampton Inn. For a Hilton hotel we were not impressed at all. The front desk employees were dressed very casually, jeans and tee shirts. The woman at the front desk had no idea whether our room was cleaned, this was at 4:30 pm where checkin was at 4. She physically went to the room to find out. I’m not convinced the room was cleaned. The sheets were cheap with many defects in the sheets, pulls/pills in the threads. Carpeting was pulled away from the bottom portion of the air unit. The breakfast was continental. My husband went to find out if they had a business office, the woman at the front desk said “I don’t know, this is my 3rd day”. Clearly no training, or tour of the building. We were disappointed in the quality of this hotel, especially for a Hilton property.

Bad cleaning. We stayed 4 days and 3 nights and they never went to clean the room. Reception was told that they needed the cleaning service and they never went. They don't want to return the money they offered for not providing the service. Lies and bad service.

Basically great!
Pretty good for a "budget" level hotel. This was a last minute trip and used points to book same day. Near everything you want to be near. The rooms are a good size and very basic. Refrigerator, no coffee maker or microwave. No chair in room but an ottoman, which is weird to use with the desk/table. The bagel bar breakfast option is pretty good for what it is. Bagels, muffins, cereals, fruits, hard boiled eggs and yogurt. And juice, coffee and tea. I felt bad for the young lady that was hustling on her own to get it all put out, but she had it done in a few minutes. Seems she was the only one here. My only negative was the waste receptacle in the breakfast room needed to been emptied and had an unpleasant odor.
