Amazing views

Great location amazing staff offering great help and service, stayed in the unit across the bridge with outstanding views of the island with the pacific ocean behind us,front balcony over the water beautiful.
Accommodation could do with maintenance.

Absolute Bliss!

This resort was recommended to me by a work colleague prior to arranging our Samoan holiday, and it did not disappoint! Although being quite a long drive from the international airport, this did not worry us once we were there. The location is idyllic and you feel like you are in another world. Aga Reef Resort is close to Lalomanu Beach and the To Sua Ocean Trench, which were the two highlights of our trip. We stayed in an overwater villa and it was very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Loved the outdoor shower which was very private and had hot water, as well as cold. The service we received from all the staff was exceptional, and they became like friends whilst we were staying there. The whole resort was quiet and peaceful. We hired a car for three of our six days there and this turned out to be a good idea in order for us to see some sights. The last two days of our holiday were spent in Apia, and upon reflection I'm so glad we spent the majority of our time at Aga Reef Resort.

A peaceful and gorgeous place to stay

Agar is a beautiful and peaceful resort to stay. The crystal clear water of the ocean and the reef at the resort’s doorstep make it an absolutely stunning place to visit.

Very relaxed quiet resort

We spent 6 night here in July. We were in the VIP room and I think for this time of year the best rooms are the mountain facing ones (they get all day sun and you can look out to some amazing fish & turtles). Our room was fine, great a/c, really clean and a super comfy bed. The breakfast was ok & there was a lot of fired food on the menu although the specials were great (freshly caught fish/ curry). You would want a car otherwise I imagine you’d feel a bit trapped. We had a car dropped off to us which was convenient.
Most days we went up the road to Seabreeze for lunch (an adults only small resort but the do cater for kids in their lunch menu but not dinner). If we came back I would stay at Aga Reef again, but if we came back without the kids Seabreeze would be where we’d go. The staff at Aga Reef were all great.

Beautiful setting in natural surroundings

Samoa has such natural beauty and the villas at Aga Reef are located to enjoy the lagoon and sea crashing onto the reef.
The staff became like family and it really is a fantastic rest! We will be back!
