Excellent Stay

Very good staff attention, excellent services and the unbeatable location, a short walk from the Plaza de Armas de Cusco. The food was also very good. I will stay here again without hesitation.

If you can, find a better place to stay.

It has an excellent location, but there is the end of the good that you can say about this hotel. It is only recommended for those who do not care about the accommodation. If you give a minimum importance to the place where you stay, this is not your hotel.
The rooms and bathrooms call for a shouting reform, the hot water fails, the heating is based on electric radiators, and the breakfast is very improveable.
In my opinion, the 3-star rating is great for you. The best days of this place have passed.

The Emperor Plaza Hotel was the negative point of your stay in Cusco

A hotel that says 3 stars but is at most one and a half. Bad service, room without air conditioning, bad shower and common bed despite in the reserve talking in queen bed. They did not arrange the room in one of the days claiming they had "forgotten." Breakfast of low quality and variety. Regular attendants are not requested and badly greet guests, starting with the manager.

Very bad experience

I have just arrived from my trip to Peru where I stayed 4 days in Cuzco, staying at the Emperador Plaza de Cuzco hotel.
We were given a room, which smelled very damp just as we entered the first night, but as we woke up in the morning, it smelled rather worse than the day before, unbearably and there was no hot water in the shower. We went downstairs to communicate it at reception and they changed rooms, it was at that moment where we picked up everything quickly to make the change as you had a visit organized in a few minutes.
Arriving in the afternoon again the hotel after the visit I noticed that in the rush the sneakers had forgotten in the previous room. I went down to reception and they told me that I was busy and they hadn’t found anything (it makes me doubt the kind of cleaning made of it and the arrangement to the intense humidity that was in the room, which gave them the same thing before putting another customer).
After getting angry and telling them that the shoes had to appear, ten minutes later they were taken to the room, I doubt that if I had not been angry, they would have appeared because of the behavior of the reception staff.
The next morning, I realize again that a bag with all the underwear of the trip (11 days) had also been forgotten in the room, which I communicate again at reception and they tell me that they have no record of it, and that he is sorry that he lost it. NEVER APPEARED
I don’t understand how a client staying in the hotel, who has had his room changed, fast and running, but he is still staying in the hotel, in another room, lose things and do not transfer them to the new room or communicate it to him personally.
Things like this make me neither stay in the hotel again, nor recommend it, as my opinion of the state of the hotel (several rooms, as we were a group of 14 people and the opinion was general) and the treatment of the reception staff, left much to be desired. I will also comment to people to keep in mind before sending another customer there.
