Thank you for the accommodation. Champers Motor Inn was central to the places we were visiting.

Looking at the reviews given here, I would say the owners of this motel have taken these comments on board, and made some measures to improve the standards, and we were very satisfied with our accomodation. We stayed in room 10, 20, and 22 which all had fantastic shower pressure. I initially booked 3 standard twin rooms, but the owner upgraded one of our rooms to a room with a kitchen knowing we had 7 adults and two toddlers in our group which we were very grateful for. They never promised a 5 star facility, but we feel we were given 3 well presented, tidy rooms with comfortable beds, good showers and clean facilities. Despite the language barrier, the cleaner who we requested extra towels from was very pleasant to deal with and I witnessed him assisting other guests without a fuss with their requests. I read a number of negative reviews about this place, but I have nothing but appreciation to share to the owner and his team. Our weekend stay

Mother/Daughter stay. Yes clean linen. I had to ask for sufficient towels - 2 staying. Then ask for milk. Heard beeping found smoke alarm in draw and disconnected battery. Motel lights on all night shining thru our curtains like daylight. Then not sure if it was owner operator upstairs but heard crying sobbing doors banging and thump thump of footsteps. From 11pm till about 2am. Also no-one man's the desk ....only ring a number and a non English speaking male appears to give us key. I think there is room for improvement.

Deceptive and rude

Front of the house staff was not available at any time. Only time we got to see the manager was when we were checking out and waiting for our ride. He was rude and threatened to charge us if we didn’t get out of the motel immediately. Only one house keeping staff who did his best to provide the essentials on request. No initiative to clean. Laundry area and the dryers disgustingly dirty and noisy. Booked two accessible rooms, were given only one “so called accessible “ which was extremely wheelchair unfriendly. Other one was a normal room provided with a bath over shower to a person in wheelchair.

apart from the very very very noisy staircase up to the bedroom, no staff any where when we needed them, not enough cooking utensils in the kitchen, no oven dishes so we could use the oven, we stayed 4 nights and no extra cleaning was done in that time, bed was comfortable and good shower.

S..t hole disgusting!!

Got in late after 10.30 pm given room 14 from memory. Carpet filthy, bathroom mouldy, unfinished plaster on bathroom walls with additional mould to complete the look, shower lever fell off when operated. Put shoes back on after shower to keep feet clean!! Pulled back sheets and found filthy obviously well slept in bed. Wish I took a photo!! Called reception and Indian dude came to check out , he acted shocked( great actor) asked me how I could tell sheets hadn’t been changed . Told him we were going to leave and he offered us another room ( upgrade , lol) he already had key in his hand which suggested he knew the state of the room. New room was clean and sheets were clean but had an infestation of clothes moths. Spare single bed had a mirror over it , mirror had a strange clear fluid dried on it, noticed that duvet cover was inside out , worked out what ever was on mirror was also on the other side of duvet. We talked people who stayed in our first room and they couldn’t believe how bad it was, they arrived late after a big day and were totally buggered so accepted it. Have stayed in cleaner bush huts!! Don’t stay here !!!!! Turns out to be emergency housing which means operators do nothing to service most of rooms!!!
