Delicious food at Hotel Albena
Ribs in various variations with rosemary potatoes and a three-way coleslaw. For dessert there was an excellent creme brulet with an excellent espresso. You can also order this culinary delight via Lieferando or pick it up yourself. We were completely delighted and will definitely try the other dishes too.

Hotel Albena
Hotel is very clean and comfortable, we were given a large separate bedroomed apartment which overlooked the quiet courtyard so had a lovely peaceful sleep.
Breakfast - we didn't really sample much of it, preferring just a few coffee's but from what we seen, it looked ok and there was a good choice.
The owners are very friendly and helpful and had patience to communicate in English with me.
The negatives -
Parking - As a two nationality family, we do a lot of travelling by car between our two countries and usually have the car full of our possessions. We always take a Hotel somewhere around the half way point of the journey -so as you would imagine we want the car to be safe in a secure place. The site from which I booked the Albena stated "" Free private parking is possible on site"" So I was confident that's what I'd get. Unfortunately it's a lie and we had to park across the main road in a side street and leave the car out of view, forcing us to take a lot more baggage from the car into the Hotel than we would usually, just in case it got broken into.
Only for that reason I wouldn't stay here again.
It would have been so helpful to be able to use a Visa or Master card for payment, instead we had to traipse around Town to find a bank to withdraw Euro's.
Plug sockets! there was only one that was accessible (discounting the bathroom) in the whole apartment - we only stayed a matter of hours to sleep but I imagine it would be annoying if staying a few days and wanted to use a laptop, hair dryer and charge mobiles at the same time.
