The hotel service was terrible. The floor in our room was dusty on the day we checked in and was never cleaned properly during our 4-night stay. On the last night, they didn’t even change the towels or provide bottled water. The hallway on the 4th floor was sometimes left without lights at night — it felt creepy! The whole hotel was dusty, from the ceiling, lanterns, corridors to the railings.
The breakfast was the worst we had during our 30-day trip in China. The dining area was dark, there were no spoons for porridge, no tissues or drinking water provided. We came down for breakfast at 8 a.m., and there was almost nothing left to eat.
The front desk was unhelpful and showed no enthusiasm. Sometimes we couldn’t even find the receptionist. The check-in process was slow and primitive, just by manually searching the booking number.

It is a pain to stay in winter. The breakfast is very manageable. The porridge is cold and the steamed buns are cold.
