I was allocated a room on the back side of the property which had no balcony and a view only of the back side of the building behind and making the room rather dark - which was disappointing.
I was able to purchase an upgrade to a better and much larger room with balcony for my final three nights.
All in all, an enjoyable stay.

Maybe ok if things are fine…
However, there were so many issues with my stay. I will only focus on one: repeated power outages at all hours of the night.
Apparently there were electrical repairs going on, which no one warned me about. When a room has no power there is no AC, which can be a problem in Malta. And when the bright emergency light comes on during an outage it is impossible to sleep, especially when the power shut off from 2 AM - 6 AM on one night.
Maybe the worst part about it is that the hotel staff never apologized for the inconvenience or tried to make amends.
I will note that the noise level both inside and outside of the hotel can be problematic as well.
I would have given 1 star, but at least the bed was comfortable and having a kitchen space is nice, and I am a charitable reviewer.

No.
I would have given a lower rating but the hotel has some redeeming qualities. Regrettably, there’s really no point to mentioning them.

Great accommodation in St Julian's
Washing machine in the hallway worked very well. Excellent location; 1 minute walk from the bus stop and two minutes walk from the 24-hour supermarket. Silent, safe and very close to the bustle of Paceville.
