This property is only a relaxed 15 min work from the center. The landlady is very friendly and makes an excellent breakfast. I will be definitely returning.

NO ENGLISH SPOKEN.The owner has been criticized for this before and didn't remove it. As the wifi and internet were also very poor my holiday was difficult. The "24 hr bar & desk" would mean waking up the manager/cook/cleaner who was a lovely person who did an excellent job on her own.The "7 CUP" breakfast is $7US. It was excellent. She had a somewhat English-speaking friend help me as an informal guide but he had a full-time job elsewhere and a drinking problem.

I can't recommend this hostel highly enough! Everything about it was perfect. Idarrah and Ronald were wonderful, caring hosts and the breakfasts we had everyday were delicious and healthy, with omelette, fruit, bread and coffee. The hostel is in an area of Havana where you get to experience a real neighbourhood, lively with very friendly people. It is a 25 minute walk along the sea front to either the area around Hotel Nacional or the other way to Old Havana. It is easy to take a taxi if it is too hot. I recommend ordering a Cuban SIM from the airport for when you arrive. Also wifi is available in the main hotels. The room was plain but very comfortable and a great bathroom. The building is airy and clean. Stay here, you won't regret it!

Go see Cuba

Great location for easy budget travelers, especially if you like walking and exploring , close to all you want to do and see in Havana. Very friendly helpful hosts, clean rooms , very safe neighborhood ,I highly recommend this place for an authentic Cuban experience.
